"Perfect for Summer"

Location, fireplace and the hosts!

In this time of the year it’s cold in Franschhoek and houses are not equipped for the winter cold weather (despite of the efforts of the owners; heating, fireplace, electrical blanket…).

We arrived to the warmest welcome and were allowed to check in early so that we could be in time for our wine tram booking. The house is huge! It is also ideally located with 360 views of the beautiful mountains in Franshoek. As it was winter, we loved the electric blankets and the wood provided for the fireplace to keep us warm and cozy. The white robes were so useful and we were excited to see them! The bathrooms were gorgeous and it was well equipped with everything that you need. There is tons or storage space in all of the rooms and three toilets. Overall, it was a great stay and we can't wait to come back

"Such a wonderful home with so many features."

We loved this house. The main living space and kitchen were such a wonderful size and very nicely furnished. Having a bathroom upstairs saved us from running up and down the stairs. It was also nice for each bedroom to have its own bathroom. The staff was so accommodating! The location was fantastic. The view of the mountains from the deck was beautiful. We also love the location to the wineries.

"Family stop at Franschhoek"

Everything was great. The house is spacious and was given to us very tidy and clean. There is a small pool just next to the main bedroom that is perfect for a quick refreshment. The location is also good, with just a 5/10min stroll to get to the main street where you can find all the restaurants and stores. The area was very friendly and pretty. Would definitely recommend to stay at Small Wonder on your graden route trip.

There is nothing not to like.
