Villa Oriole

Less than half an hour from the airport. Five minutes taxi from the closest restaurants, coffee shops and beaches. In our experience over the few days we were here, we found that taxis or food deliveries from Grab did not know exactly where the villa was because the main entrance to the estate is behind a security gate but this is not a big issue. There was rain on the first day and then brilliant sunshine thereafter. Six en-suite bedrooms, spacious living area and kitchen, lovely pool, bbq area, pool table and outside dining area. The villa is nicely decorated in traditional Thai paraphernalia. There is a maid who will cook and clean between 8am-4pm. Most rooms are in decent condition. The pool is maintained daily with leaves swept and the maid will tidy up as you use cups, glasses and dishes. It is generally clean and comfortable. Masseurs will come to the villa if requested. They cost about 50% more (600 baht) than the local massages outside (400 baht) but it can be worth the convenience. We booked a BBQ chef via the manager. The cost of the chef was 2,800 baht. The food cost quoted was 4-4.5k baht and it eventually came to 5.4k baht.

One room had a leak with air conditioning and the sink which flooded the bathroom area, we kept the temperature above the recommended temperature as suggested but the pipes must be quite old. A handyman came in to fix but didn't do it properly so had to come a second time. A bit of to-ing an fro-ing to deal with both the manager and owner but sorted it in the end.

Great pool and communal areas for family/friends to hand out all day.

View from the pool is mostly construction right now but there is no noise and that didn’t take away from the beauty.

The villa is good size for big family and the staff is polite and friendly. Khun Fah is very helpful and khun Jenny is very flexible. The location might be far from the center, so we recommend to rent a transportation so it is more convenient to go out.

A nice large villa up the hill, very quiet place with a nice infinity pool. The help was very good and we had fresh towels daily. Instructions provided.to check in was.clear. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall a very nice place for a large group of friends and.family to enjoy a relaxing time after day trip to the towns in Phuket

4 rooms.were nice while another 2 were smaller with older furniture and 1 aircond didnt work well and was noisy. They responded quickly to.try to resolve it but equipment is old and so it was noisy. The plumbing also was noisy in that one room, so overall 5 rooms.were.great,.one not so.
