Carpe Diem

This is the worst place I've ever stayed in. And I partly blame Bookings.com for not showing the past reviews and letting the people book a place as bad as this and letting the owners continue to advertise it.We didn't even stay a night. The place smelled terrible and I think it must be condemned as I think there is black mold. It could be such a nice place but clearly they only take your money and don't look after the place. I would like my money back as im sure the owners know that the place needs drastic measures to get it up to par again. I think they painted over mold. There are so many things wrong with this place!! Are you not ashamed for stealing people's money like this?

There isn't 1 door in this place that is working. The kitchen and stove is filthy and the stove plates rusted through. The thatched roof is in a terrible state and infested by critters. The lights aren't working and I'm sure they wiring isn't up to code. Everything reeks of mold. At the porch side we could see traces of black mold. If you can't keep up with looking after this place sell it. But it is a health and safety risk!! It should really be condemned

The property was spacious and the pool was good

It was not clean. Pillows smelling of cigarettes. All cutlery and pits dirty.

Nature, seeing different animals and the atmosphere there. The house was enough for us. The view was very beautiful.

Linens were not clean, the whole house was not clean actually , TV was not working

Upon arrival the house was super dirty. We found the cleaner, dusting tables using her hands and when we asked why the house is so dirty she said she wasn't aware there are guests coming over. We had to sweep, mop and dust the whole house down. The beds had animal droppings inside the duvet covers, in between sheets. The bedding was clean at least but you could tell the cleaner didn't bother checking if the rooms are okay.

Location was good. But then again anywhere in Marloth Park is good.

The building was tired. Doors broken, dark, no batteries in remote, no electrical adapters to use TV, shower upstairs was grotty, building was old and needed a lot of TLC, Oven didn’t work. It was like someone set up a house 20yrs ago and just left it. Felt the springs through the mattress…I can go on and on but don’t have the time.
