Lovely house with large bedrooms and plenty of seating. The log fire was nice although did take sometime to get going, probably due to the cold or blockage in the flue if not used regularly. The location is great and everyone commented what a great listing and house, credit to the owners. Plenty of parking too. The host communication was great. She even took the effort to mail an item which had been left behind. If you are a larger party then I would highly recommend this stay, we will be checking back here next time we visit Arran.

Nothing really. It is a big house and the bones of the house took a while to heat up on arrival. Otherwise it was perfect.

Clean, roomy, easy to find.

Heating could have been more efficient. Shower door wonky.

Comfortable beds. Bedding clean and good quality. Crockery good quality.

Poor level of cleanliness - dirty bin, dusty floors and surfaces, stains on walls. House in need of some serious TLC. Missing door handle. Badly stained soft furnishings. Cooking pans badly burnt and needing replaced. Toaster and kettle needing replaced. V chipped paintwork. Rough plaster and skirtings not fitting. Seals on showers v discoloured and dirty. No hot water in basin in downstairs loo.

Lots of space and very well equipped for 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs.
