Villa Tahona by Villalia

As advertised. An ideal home away from home for two adults and two kids. Everything you need for a longer stay. The sunsets by the pool were very welcomed family time.

A welcome pack of essentials and cleaning supplies. Hosts were very responsive by text and everything was dealt with so efficiently.

The property is nicely designed and has amazing views. The living space is really light and airy, although not as big as it looks in the photos. The outside space is really big and comfortable. Comfortable beds and sofas.

Property is tired and is not being adequately maintained. On reporting issues I was advised that as the property is so popular there is no time between stays for maintenance. So… tap in kitchen doesn’t really work, can’t use either of the baths as there there has been quick repair job done on them both which has removed the space for plugs, the laundry airer was broken, cracked mirrors, peeling cabinets etc. Not deal breakers but when you look closely you start to see the issues. No ovenware or baking sheets so can’t use the oven. Rusty bath, burns on kitchen worktop….

The views were amazing. It was clean and comfortable.

Love the private locassion of the villa and the private pool. The temperature of the pool was perfect. There were blackout curtains on each bedroom window too. Everything we needed was in the kitchen too.

The location is great, while the house is in Playa Blanca which is quite touristy it is situated close to the mountain which means slightly away from the rest of the houses and you get the best views. The house is just as you can see in the pictures, all was very clean and the snacks at our arrival where very much appreciated!. The communication with the owners was fantastic.
