Traditional Villa Mandola

The host and villa were wonderful. Arrived to find a lovely villa, very clean, a delicious meal waiting as well as a fridge full of food and drink. Just what I needed after a long flight. Janis made sure that my stay was perfect and was always ready to help. The villa is large, comfortable, well furnished with good air con. The garden has fabulous views over to the sea and mountains and a spotless, secluded swimming pool. Janis really cares that his guests have a good time and I really hope to come back one day.

The villa was marvelous with lovely views, stylish interiors and attention to detail. There was a lots of storage in the bedrooms. The bed was very comfortable (I suggest to put a protector over the matrass). The hosts brought us lots of food, which was really kind of them. The pool was lovely with garden furniture nicely arranged and comfortable. The villa is close to l very nice beaches and the capital. The hosts suggested a number of good eating places. Everything was very clean. We are thinking of coming back.

The bathrooms are small (or perhaps we are too big :) There was a constantly howling dog nearby. We found this disturbing. But everything else was perfect.

My wife and I loved everything about Villa Mandola. The location is spectacular, the outlook is just like a Tuscan hillside, and the hosts were exceptional in their knowledge of the island and its many attractions. They provided ample staples ( tea coffee, water and basic supplies ) plus provided us with a beautiful home cooked meal which was a wonderful surprise for us weary travellers. The Villa was spotless, and the surrounding gardens immaculate. I can honestly say that this property and the delightful host really made our stay in Kefalonia a memorable one. If I could give this property an 11/10 I would. We'll be back in 2025 for 2 weeks this time.

I didn't like leaving.

The house had everything we needed including very comfy beds, the outside space was gorgeous and the views were incredible. But more than that the hosts were exceptional, they made us feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful and generous. We loved it and will definitely try to come back!

I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing for us is that we had to watch our little one very carefully outside due to the steps and deep pool but we knew that when we were booking.

I stayed in touch with the host from the moment we made the booking to the day we left. On arrival Yannis was there to greet us, after taking a taxi from the airport which is approximately 10 minutes from the airport.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave Villa Mandola.
