GBGBThe view was great. Made it easy that breakfast was included. We were able to wait around by the pool after check out for our transfer.
The room is a lot smaller than expected. We had no hot water after our first night. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The bathroom smelt horrible and damp. The balcony doors didn’t lock. There wasn’t a safe in the room to keep our valuables. Coffee was served in dirty mugs. Unless I was pronouncing it wrong, Taxi drivers weren’t aware of it, and so we had to keep an eye out and point whenever heading back from town. Very expensive compared to other gorgeous places we stayed, cannot fathom why.
DEThe staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. They helped out a lot with any questions I had. The restaurant was also amazing, and again had amazing staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, the little house with balcony was great, had amazing views and everything was very close to Quepos.
USThe personnel were great. When we left I was going to be charged for a beer from the wet bar, that I didn’t drink. Especially since I don’t drink. I refused to pay that.
It stated a jungle retreat so we expected a little quiet. The rooms are literally only 60-70 feet away from the main road going to Manuel Antonio, so traffic was very loud early in the morning.
BEGood breakfast! Personnel was very friendly. While we were swimming or having breakfast, the scarlet macaws were in the trees above. It was so cool!
On the pictures it seems as if you're really in the nature, but in reality the cabins were quite close to the main road. (there wasn't much noise from the road so overall it didn't bother us that much)
USThe breakfast was disappointing. Coffee cold. Steep stairs to walk up and down in the dark. Management is more interested in running the surf school than accommodating their customers.

PLThe location is good, 10-min drive from Manuel Antonio National Park and even less from the center of Quepos. Lots of shops and restaurants around, you will need a car though, keep in mind it’s impossible to get anyway on foot. The room was very simple, but spacious and clean. The biggest advantage was the balcony, lots of trees and plants around the place, so we could observe monkeys, sloths and birds right from the house. The breakfast was very simple, but the fresh juices were delicious.
We wanted to pay with cash and had to drive around in the evening after a 5h drive and a flight in search of ATM, because they did not let us pay the next day, which was peculiar, even though we stayed for 2 nights. They charge for the bottled water in the room which was quite a surprise, since we assumed that the hotel always provides water. The bathroom was clean and spacious but no handshower and no shelf to put your cosmetics so it was a little bit uncomfortable.
