Vilia House on the Hill - Luxury Villa with Heated Pool near Chania

Everything about Vilia and Stavroula the owner was perfect from start to finish. We were greeted by Stavroula at Vilia with warmth and generosity. Vilia itself is magical. We were 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. The views are stunning. The pool is a dream (particularly for our kids!). Plenty of places to sit and relax and lovely spaces for supper for all 10 of us. The rooms were spotlessly clean and soooo comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed too. A lovely beach in walking distance and Chania a 30 min walk away. The kids loved the table tennis and the older ones really appreciated the gym! There is a real attention to detail which we all appreciated. Stavroula was generous with her hospitality and was quick to reply to any questions! We loved everything about this place. Highly recommend!!!

The villa is amazing, very comfortable, clean, looks like on the pictures. There were several extras that we didn't expected, such as the huge bluetooth soundbar, refrigerator with ice dispenser and so on. We spent a great time here. The host is extremely kind, communicates very well, responses quickly for every question.

The property is absolutely amazing, a lot of space We where a group of 12 friends and we didn’t miss anything, 4 bathrooms and plus one more WC, the pool, everything was great. The cleanliness was on point.Stavroula was really helpful and friendly

Nothings was missing

A huge house, lovely decorated, many rooms and spaces to chill. Had everything for a great vacation like stone grill, ping pong table, heated pool, play Station, movie projector and a big Terrace. We just loved it all! Host Stavroula is just so nice, helping us with any wish, providing advice on restaurants, made reservations, and was so kind and generous to us. Answered all questions within seconds. Thank you so much for making this vacation so special and perfect for us! Kids and adults enjoyed to the fullest!

Nothing, was perfect

The Villa was very well maintained and clean. It had entertainment extras like a speaker and ps4! There is plenty of space for large groups with spacious bedrooms & communal spaces. You're not on the top of one another, but we all spent time together around the large table on the terrace, or playing ping pong! The pool was exceptionally clean & looked after. We all had a sunlounger each, with some to spare. Theres lots of different areas around the villa to relax, always a spot in the sun or the shade. The outside shower is a nice addition too. Two large towels & a few hand towels were provided for each of us, & fresh ones were provided for us midway through our stay when the cleaners visted. They were very nice, asked us how our stay was going, & did an wonderful job. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials like oil, seasonings, sugar, tea & coffee, along with an Nespresso machine. We cooked a few evenings of our stay with no issues. Our host was so helpful, always replied to any questions we had promptly. She booked us transporatation to & from the airport which took away alot of stress. Helped us to get a takeaway delivered to the villa also, which was super easy & has many options! Really recommend. Throughly enjoyed our trip to the villa, we would stay again!

The villa was a little far away from the tourist areas but that is to be expected for a villa! The walk to the harbourside takes around 35/40 minutes. However there are a couple shops a 5/10 minute walk away for essentials & a beer run! By the time you have walked 15/20 minutes towards the town centre you will find shops, bars & restaurants. The kitchen itself between the islands is small but we cooked for 8 a few nights & it didn't cause too much problem.

This villa was lovely to stay in. ❤️ It was entirely secluded from other buildings - something we liked since we value our privacy. It was equipped with everything we needed. The host was super: she answered our queries in no time, and gave us loads of good recommendations. This stay was a proper value for money and we will definitely comsider booking it again whenever we are in Chania.

Despite the lateness of our arrival at the property, our host was there to greet us, hand over keys and show us a few essential things about the house.

So spacious, rooms are lovely and facilities are great. Literally has something for everyone. Anything you need the lovely concierge is only a WhatsApp away and cannot do enough for you.

A few things broken or were broken before we arrived, but the concierge got them sorted usually within the hour of letting her know. I think people before hadn’t told them things had broken, so they wouldn’t be aware. This did not ruin the stay at all.
