Chania's Diamond Villas - Aqua Bliss with Private Pools

Le village de Gavalochori est très mignon et très agréable. La maison correspond aux photos. Nous étions un grand groupe et nous étions satisfaits d'avoir 3 hébergements. Il y avait des rafraîchissements prévus dans les frigos ainsi que le nécessaire : ustensiles de cuisine, papier WC, eau, huile d'olive, etc. C'était très appréciable.

La communication n'a pas été très fluide avec l'hôte. Nous n'avions pas les informations pour l'adresse exacte de la maison et la remise des clés. Les extérieurs étaient encore en travaux lors de notre arrivée. Nous n'avions pas d'eau chaude dans une maison et n'avons pas pu avoir accès à la wifi. L'état de la literie n'était pas satisfaisant, certains matelas étaient en très mauvais état.

Nous avons eu un super accueil malgré l heure tardive de notre arrivée. Grand merci pour la confiture le pain et l huile d olive. et surtout pour les recommandations pour passer de super vacances en famille. on peut descendre au village à pied. il y a un petit supermarché pour depanner et les 3 restaurants sont très bons. La maison a des moustiquaires aux fenêtres. la piscine est très propre. l endroit est magnifique et très calme.

rien. juste pour information le canapé lit de 2 personnes du 2e etage est plutot fait pour des jeunes enfants.

Nice area of Crete.

We stayed at this villa in late July and left after just one night due to multiple serious issues. The listing is misleading, and I strongly advise others to avoid booking here, especially families with young children or pregnant guests. Air conditioning: Only bedrooms have AC, and even these units barely worked. At 39°C, the downstairs kitchen and lounge were unbearable. The owner insisted “the downstairs is cool.” It wasn’t — unsafe for a baby and a 7-month pregnant guest. We were even accused of tampering with the AC remotes. Unsafe baby cot: The cot was dirty, torn, and broken with one side completely open. We asked for a replacement on the first night. The host said it was “too late” and would fix it the next day. When we left at 2pm, nothing had been done. Cockroaches: We found multiple cockroaches, including one climbing the wall in our child’s bedroom. The owner again blamed us. Fumes: The access track was under construction with strong asphalt/exhaust smells by the pool, outdoor dining, lounge, and kitchen. This was unpleasant for all and a safety concern for vulnerable guests. Bathrooms: Only one proper bathroom, with showers that produced a dribble of water — unsuitable for six people. Other issues: The villa spans three steep floors (not disclosed), unsuitable for a pregnant guest. Stairs creaked loudly, waking our baby. Curtains were flimsy, bedding musty, privacy poor (villas tightly packed, cars passing pool), and the owner’s family lives next door, often around the grounds. The villas generally appear tired, nothing like their photography. When raised, the owner was dismissive and hostile, even accusing us of inventing or creating these problems. Yet our photos and videos clearly prove otherwise. We lost two days of our holiday arranging safer accommodation and are heavily out of pocket. We have received no refund, compensation or apology for this awful event, we wouldn't wish it on others. Crete is lovely, don't book this villa.

Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig . Die Vermieter sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit und herzlich ♥️. Alles da was man braucht - und wenn nicht wurde es ganz schnell besorgt . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.🇬🇷🥰

This beautiful villa is situated in a quiet location with its own private pool. It had 3 double A/C rooms which fitted our family perfectly. It’s very well equipped with everything we needed as a family. The local village with 2 small supermarkets and several lovely tavernas was only a short 10 minute walk away. We were made to feel very welcome by the family hosts Niki and Antonis. We’d love to visit again.

Les propriétaires, d'une gentillesse. Les enfants ont vraiment adoré le lieu. Le cadre, cette maison est très grande et très agréable.

The villa is the smaller of the 3 on the site and priced much lower as a consequence. It was very nice at the edge of the olive trees. With a pool and next to the landlords house who was very helpful when we had questions. There are 3 bedrooms 2 have 2 singles and one double. All have air con. Parking and access was easy. The kitchen had all the essential equipment needed.the pool is a above ground one but totally great for cooling off! Location was close to the village with all you need for supplies and evening food. The local beach town of almyrida and kalves are close by and great for swimming with easy parking if you get there early.

We only stayed for 13 days! I was just getting into the Mediterranean life when we had to come back.

Superbe emplacement pour visitee la reégion dans une demeure volumineuse et tout confort ! Les hôtes sont sympas et arrangeants.

Il manquerait une petite clim dans le salon, il fait vraiment chaud dans la maison .
