Location was beautiful. Staff were very friendly. Food was amazing. Pool was stunning with an incredible view.

Would be awesome to have an inclosed communal area to hang out in with aircon and especially at night to avoid mosquitoes and bugs. Master suite to have a larger aircon unit to cool the room better and better seals to sliding doors to allow the room to stay cool without cool air escaping or warm air from entering.

The staff, view, and pool were spectacular. The location is close to beaches and Kuta (where most of the restaurants are). There is also a restaurant/hotel next door and they provide delicious food. We also had a few meals made by the in-house chef - highly recommend it! And any suggestions we needed for day activities (swimming, snorkeling, boating) were kindly suggested by the staff.

Our stay was tarnished by poor maintenance of the facilities, specifically the bathroom on the ground floor (everything else was OK). The rotting wood on the floor of the bathroom put off an awful smell. We encountered 4 scorpions and a scolopendra, all coming out of that particular bathroom. The bedroom that was attached to this bathroom was not fit for stay. My parents, who unfortunately could not climb the stairs as they had no railing (slightly dangerous, mind you), could not rest the whole stay there. We asked the staff for help on this. The first response was "It's the rainy season so there is nothing we can do about it." Not the response we hoped for, and also the fact that it had not been raining, and it did not rain the 5 days we were there, but that's beside the point. Then they proceeded to clean out the drains of the bathroom. Granted we had told them about the scorpions on the second day. The drains were cleaned on the day before we were leaving. At that point, I think we were just ready to go home. Although we do appreciate and respect the effort to remedy the issue. All in all, it was a great stay, minus the peace of mind. We saw other critters like crickets, praying mantis, flying jungle roaches - these are to be expected in an open villa surrounded by vegetation. But I think once the critters turn venomous and pose a risk, then something needs to be done to protect the guests. Would recommend this place once the issue has been addressed!
