Villa Tara nr Layan Beach

The rooms were fine . Typical rental furniture . But the pool was awful … I would normally be cleaned by overflowing into the filter but there was a visible hole in the pool so water leaked and it could not clean itself properly . I complained but was told it would take emptying the pool and several days but the main pump would clean it . It didn’t .. algae grew on the side and even when cleaned it was murky with far too much chlorine and quickly turned Back to algae . I wouldn’t wash my dog in there . I was given a £40 pound discount total and pneumonia stopped me leaving . So I paid for a pool villa with no pool useable and got an ear infection . They also had electricity and water allowance not mentioned in the booking . They villa potentially housed 6 and I was one person and still had extra to pay in the electricity even though I only used it in one night and not at all in the other two rooms ! The check in was friendly but they need a print out to make operating the tv more easily . It would be a nice place if they got their act together but the holes in the tiles of the pool were huge so they must have known before they rented it . Bed very comfortable and nice location
