Tanglewood Lodge

Lovely facilities , very clean and close to Lossiemouth

The location was ideal for us, a perfect base to explore Elgin and surrounding areas by car. There is a beautiful beach just a few minutes walk away, across a golf course so all off-road. Tanglewood itself is absolutely beautiful, spacious bedrooms, lots of storage, well stocked kitchen, ample garden space & lots of parking. Lots of lovely little touches like a welcome tray, miniature toiletries, free hire of bikes and games for the children (we spent many hours playing badminton on the lawn). The house is very close to an RAF runway which made for some spectacular views of jets taking off/landing. All in all we’ve had an idyllic time away and would highly recommend Tanglewood as a family/couples getaway.

A fantastic property in a great location. It had everything we needed for our long stay. The host went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing it was perfect

Good location with parking, quiet area, comfy beds, spacious rooms, nice and clean throughout, big hot tub, good kitchen space, plenty of bathrooms.

Our host was so responsive to everything and went above and beyond.

There were add on charges for everything! I think they should have been published up front before booking.

Showers were great. Linen was good quality. Plenty kitchen equipment. Great location for exploring the area. Useful to have washing machine.

Garden - was open at the back and sides with no fence -would not have been suitable for young children. Didn’t pay extra for hot tub as the week had already been expensive and location of hot tub was not ideal
