"The villa view is like nothing else but getting back n forth to town is hard for older people"

The view atop the hillside is spectacular and worth the price of admission alone. Private castle in the sky

It’s very difficult to get there either by 160 stone steps or a long winding path they don’t mention until you get there.

We made our own breakfast with coffee in the fully equipped kitchen, with pastries from the village.

Be prepared for A LOT of stairs with luggage ~ but well worth the hike!

Amazing views, beautiful property, comfortable beds and much appreciated air conditioning. The property owner is very nice and kept in touch before and during our trip.

As with any property in Portovenere, there are a lot of steps to climb!
