Maggie was wonderful and showed us the entire property. Very clean and a firm comfortable bed. We were in bungalow #3 which has an ocean view and is private. The local bus/van transportation is super cheap and easy, but Maggie will arrange a taxi if you need it. We took the bus to Zihua, toured around, got groceries, and headed back in a taxi. I didn't feel the need to go to town at all, other than groceries. Loved hanging out at the property with ocean air and beach access. You can rent kayaks down the street, but it would have been so perfect if they had a kayak at the property. Also, breakfast was great, served right to our porch. Very nice.

I really like the access to the outdoor kitchen, but it was odd that I had to provide my own fuel (coals) to grill. The 3 broken lounge chairs need to be fixed/replaced.

The property is immaculately kept. Loved how the bungalows were directly on the beach- beautiful landscaping and natural shade from the palms. Staff is phenomenal and attentive.

So peaceful...beach is amazing. Turtle sanctuary next door. Five restaurants on the beach. Staff are super responsive.

Could use a little bench out front while waiting for bus or fruit truck.

This is a magical property operated by people who have put so much love into every detail. If your goal is to really relax, have a stunning beach almost entirely to yourself and have side adventures to authentic towns, this is the place for you! I can’t wait to return.

The property is absolutely stunning and has so many little seating, sunning and chillaxing areas to hang out. If you are looking for shade or looking for sun or just wanting to stare out at the ocean - its all there. The grounds are immaculately maintained and the whole place is very clean and tidy. The two pools on the property again offer you the opportunity for shade or sun and both are refreshing and clean. There are outdoor showers to wash the sand off after a dip in the ocean or walk along the beach. We stayed in bungalow #3 and loved how charming it was. Very comfortable and large bed with really good quality bedding. This particular unit did not have air conditioning but for the most part fans did a good job of cooling enough for sleep. The little fridge was nice to have but I wish I came better prepared. I would have loved to use the outdoor kitchen (very well equipped) but there isn't much for grocery in the area. Consider bringing what you need with you for the time you are there. There is a nice beach restaurant very close by but they close at 6PM. The food is good and it is inexpensive. We are breakfast at the property once and it was tasty but a bit expensive so we opted to use the beach restaurant. This is a unique place and perhaps not for everyone but if you really want to relax it offers a perfect environment. Bungalows is clearly a labour of love for the owners. Staff were also fantastic and really dedicated to their work. They were flexible with our arrival and departure times which we greatly appreciated. Overall they owners and staff are putting a lot of effort into a perfect guest experience. One last thing - a turtle conservation place is next door so if you love turtle releases - this is a great place to be!

The only thing I didn't like was the mosquitos but no one can control that. Just plan to pack a little bug spray along with your sunscreen.
