What a special home to offer to others to stay. It is historic, well-decorated, comfortable with modern amenities, charming, and a special look into the historical significance of Chefchaouen in Moroccan history. Muhammed and Fatima were incredible on-site host and house staff respectively. The location is central. The breakfast was served next to a fire, which was cozy and very sweet — on embroidered tablecloths and real china. The beds were cozy. The renovation and home were beautiful and calming.

The downstairs bathroom was a bit chilly at night. Found the space heater but the cord was short so had to balance on the sink to plug in.

This was the most beautiful, charming, well maintained riad we’ve stayed at in Morocco . It was meticulously maintained preserving the traditional spaces that make it special. Mohammad went far above and beyond our expectations before and during our visit. Our friend celebrated his birthday and we came home from dinner to a house lit with candles and a lovely, delicious cake. This was totally a surprise Mohammad initiated on his own. Thoughtful beyond words. He is a huge asset to this home. Breakfast each morning was like dining at a 5 star hotel only better ! Our last chilly morning he thoughtfully moved breakfast next to a roaring fire- perfection. The home is very near one of the gates to the Medina and on a small, quiet side road. Book this property without hesitation!

Pareltje !We waren met 4 vriendinnen in 1 Dar helemaal voor onszelf. Heel smaakvol ingericht.. Ontbijt een feest , goed verzorgd door alleraardigst Personeel . Wij vonden het heerlijk!

1 slaapkamer had geen badkamer dus die deel je.. en de bedden waren daar wat krap. Misschien was het de kinder kamer.

This is one of the beautiful riads we stayed in Morocco. It has been restored beautifully and had all the amenities one would need in their comfortable stay. Every corner you turn has a story to tell. What makes this riad special is the house manager Mohammed - he took good care of us, turned on the fireplace before we arrived so we would feel warm and cozy, was only a phone call away if we needed anything, and even surprised with a cake once he found out it was my birthday. And Fatima is an exceptional chef - she prepared delicious spread everyday for breakfast. My friend cannot stop raving about her breads.

Nothing to complain except change the water tank heater so we can have a longer shower, after 5 to 10 mins it starts to get lukewarm. Mohammed did offer to have someone come to fix the heater but since we were staying for few days, we didn’t feel the need to have it repaired during our stay. May be it can be repaired for future guests.

This was by far the most amazing riad experience during our complete Morocco vacation. The place is beautiful, sparkling clean, super easy to communicate with, historic and central.. I mean, there is no more you can possibly ask for. The riad manager was amazing to communicate with us and help us get settled.

Un luogo magico. Essere a Lalla Ghayta è come sentirsi a casa... o forse dì più. Bellissima struttura inserita in un contesto autentico e tranquillo che riflette la vera essenza del luogo. L'ambiente curato la pulizia impeccabile. Per non parlare della colazione fatta per noi da Fatima e Mohamed, superlativa! Grazie a Mohamed per l'eccellente servizio.

Breakfast at Lalla Ghayta was truly exceptional and one of the best we’ve had in Morocco. The presentation was beautiful — a colourful spread of fresh fruit, including mango, banana, mandarins and perfectly carved apples. We were served delicious traditional Moroccan items like baghrir (Moroccan pancakes) and a warm semolina cake, along with eggs, cheese, dates, and homemade jams. Everything was fresh, generous, and prepared with great care. The attention to detail and hospitality made our morning feel very special. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true Moroccan breakfast experience.

Mohamed was an amazing host and even communicated with our driver to arrange meeting to get us into the Riad. This was such an amazing place pictures don't do it justice. If you will be in Chefchauoen and it is available do yourself a favor and stay here! Also we had slept on rock hard beds all over Morocco leading up to staying here and so the bed was a welcome change as it was actually SOFT!

The breakfast was AMAZING as were Mohamed and the woman who helped him. There was nothing to not like.

Wat een fijn plekje! Helemaal voor onszelf , 4 vriendinnen. Smaakvol ingericht, Helemaal gelukkig met onze keuze! We voelden ons er prettig. Ontbijt overheerlijk! Lieve mensen, alles goed verzorgd!

Er was niets wat ons niet beviel. 2 van ons wel iets lekkerder geslapen in een groot bed, de andere 2 hadden wat klein bed… Het is een prive huis. In de avond wel even zoeken..
