Orientem Villa Heated Pool

The villa was beautiful, clean and cosy. The owner was the best and customer service was 10/10.

We've just returned from a weeks vacation at Orientem Heated Pool in Crete, travelling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 6 & 2). I don't think I have the vocabulary to adequately describe just how amazing our holiday has been. The villa was absolutely immaculate with everything we could ever require as a young family being catered for - and even if it wasn't, we had the wonderful host Maria offering to assist us in anyway possible should we need it. We've stayed in many villas over the years but have never come across a host as engaging and as helpful as Maria. She regularly surprised us with local treats such as Olive Oil, Raki, Wine, Sweets and Home Baked Cakes! She welcomed us on the 1st day with a platter of Greek specialities and then on the final night she gifted us her personally harvested Olive Oil and a freshly baked cake. We truly did not want to go home and we are already looking if we can go back to Crete, and the Orientem Villa at some point next year. The sunrise over the bay was one of the most incredible I have ever seen. The whole family awoke early to view this and we were emotionally blown away by it. The pool, while a little cooler than some villas we have visited, had a really useful 'kids' area where they could play in relative safety without having to have an Adult in the pool at the same time.

The only 'slight' negative I could think of was the lack of wardrobe space. If you were staying for longer than a week, then this may become a problem.
