Kawayan villas are superb! We stayed here on our trip to the siargao as a last minute treat to celebrate our engagement. We loved every single thing about it. The property is perfectly maintained, the rooms are comfortable and spotless. You are right in the hot spot of cloud 9 but as soon as you enter the gate to the villa you feel like you have stepped away onto another island. The staff are beautiful and SO welcoming and attentive. Can’t wait to come back. 100/10

Very little activities or amenities to offer. Biggest issue encountered. Got to room to unpack and a large (rat/mouse) dropped from the ceiling onto the bed. Staff came to remove it and it went across the bed u see the bed - pillows etc. after swooshing it away they failed to replace the sheets or any other action. Several times ants attacked all over the bathroom counter - bed - walls etc. no actions were taken and nothing was rectified. At this price this is unacceptable.

Very private and quiet place with a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool. The villa was very comfortable and well decorated. It includes everything you need. Location was ideal just a few meters away from Cloud 9, near cafes and restaurants and beside an authentic French bakery. Breakfast was excellent and really well presented. All the staff were exceptionally attentive and accommodating. They made our stay really pleasant and memorable. It is one of those places you wish you would stay longer and come back over and over again.

If wwe had to find 1 thing it would be: the bugs in the open bathroom

This property is a real oasis of calm and tranquillity just a minute or two away from the Cloud 9 surf spot. General Luna is also a short and inexpensive ride away. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance of various cuisines. The host could not be more welcoming and helpful, and the onsite staff were always on hand to help us with anything we might need. The breakfast every day was just perfect with different options available and fresh pastries, fruit etc. Overall I would highly recommend staying.

There is not a single thing you could dislike !

Kawayan is by far the best accommodation in Siargao. David and Crystal have build a beautiful place and this is now my first option when going back to Siargao. Staff are all super friendly and helpful, it's nice and quiet compared to places in town and you are right in front of Cloud 9 if you are looking for waves.
