My Villa

We have really enjoyed the place: 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom...plenty of space. A swimming pool only for us and large space outside to relax. We received also a cleaning service included in the price and the host was always available to support. Free parking just outside the house, nice terrace to enjoy the view around. Laundry service also available at very convenient price. Great shower as the water pressure was excellent and the place was very clean. These are important factors to score high The villa is not at walking distance from the beaches but the best ones can be reached in 5' by car and honestly it was better like this. Same distance to get to the main town of Naxos. So we have also appreciated the strategic location

The villa is close to the airport and therefore there is some noise during the day. A bearable conditon at least for us, but just to be aware. The night was quite, so no problem to sleep. The place is not cheap, but it is somehow in line with the market...however, I would suggest to book early enough to ensure to make a good deal.

Pool and garden area are nice and well kept comparing to other assets in Naxos

The rationale for the rating is comparing to other facilities in Greece and Mediterranean. For start, I always give 10 and then deduct for things which are not good and they are: 1. There is absolutely no personal touch for the guest, not a bottle of water in the fridge (1€ cost) on your arrival. On your departure nothing, usually for this price host give a 2dl of oil (5€ cost). Also on other islands for similar price the host contacted us every day on whether we need anything, weather forecast, restaurant recommendation and did a booking, here nothing, no contact unless we asked something.. 2. Location - it is well advertised that it is near the airport which is fine as you know the schedule, but what is not advertised are helicopters which do not have schedule.. In 10 days helicopters which are much louder woke us at 5:00 am for 4 days which is unacceptable!!! This was stressed several times, I know that the host cannot do anything but then at least on departure we could have been provided with a small gesture as a 5€ bottle of domestic oil, anything just to show some personal touch.. 3. Wrong advertising.. There is no Sea View, there is no Lake View, there is no Mountain View. Please be honest, villa is ok but is has no view.. 4. Cleaning. Upon arrival the host said that the cleaning would be every second day. It is not cleaning, just changing the towels..
