Villa Hermione

We have just had the most perfect week at Villa Hermione. The villa itself is even more magical than the pictures, and I have never stayed anywhere so well equipped or received such exceptional service from a host. Manolis made every part of our trip feel completely effortless, from recommending brilliant local companies for car and boat hire, to arranging our airport transfers and sharing excellent restaurant recommendations. When we arrived, he had stocked the fridge and cupboards with everything we could possibly need: wine, beer, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, milk and bread. It was so much more than a welcome hamper, and totally unexpected. Throughout the week, the service continued to be incredible. Manolis brought freshly baked, homemade pastries on multiple mornings, and halfway through our stay there was a full cleaning service, with all the sheets and towels changed. It genuinely felt as though we were staying in a five-star hotel, but with the space and comfort of our own villa. The grounds are absolutely stunning and much bigger than they appear in the pictures. The mature herb garden is magical, with huge bushes of rosemary, as well as a full vegetable garden with fresh strawberries and other produce. I honestly could not recommend Villa Hermione more. It was far more than a five-star experience.

We loved everything about the property. It’s in a fantastic location - close to some nice tavernas, 5min drive to Agios Nikolaos (€10 taxi) and Elounda also not far away. We loved the pool area, and the various chill out areas. It’s nice and spacious and worked well for our group of 6. Most special about the whole stay was our incredible host, who could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Thank you!

Villa Hermione is a special property. It is perfectly situated to enjoy the Mirabello Bay views but close enough to visit the harbor fronts in AgNik and Elounda within a few minutes driving. The house has everything you need for comfort, dining and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and our host Manolis provided food in the pantry and refrigerator, which we haven’t had so extensively at other rentals in Greece. The grounds are manicured and enjoyable. There’s a beautiful fruit and vegetable garden with paths throughout and even a private basketball court at the base of the property. There is plenty of outdoor space for privacy or gatherings. The pool is also a delight. Comfortable loungers, plenty of towels, huge umbrellas for shade, a pool float and the perfect temperature to cool off on hot days. The owner and host of the property really was a delight. He met us at the property, gave us a tour and explained how to operate the A/C, etc. Every day he brought us homemade treats and sent us on our way with local olive oil and honey. Staying at Villa Hermione is like visiting your Greek family you never had before.

La Villa è ben strutturata e gli spazi esterni sono molto belli, con terrazza principale con piscina a vista mare e 3 terrazze su livelli diversi con ognuno poltrone e tavolini ideale per avere anche zone di tranquillità se si è in diverse persone. Il giardino è veramente incredibile molto curato con frutti, ortaggi e spezie di ogni tipo a disposizione degli ospiti. Il campo da basket è una vera "chicca", i ragazzi si sono divertiti parecchio. Anche la zona fitness e pesi veramente ben attrezzata e ben posizionata, in zona fresca ti permette di allenarti anche nei momenti caldi della giornata. Da ultimo, ma molto importante, il gestore / proprietario è stato veramente premuroso e impeccabile. All'arrivo aveva già allestito un "welcome basket" con alimenti per le prime colazioni, ed un frigorifero con bibite, cibi e gelati, oltre ad alcuni dolci fatti in casa che ci ha offerto durante il soggiorno.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Hermoine. It is a beautiful house with amazing views and a lovely pool. Manolis went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even bringing us some Greek treats.

A very short drive to the main town, with lots of fantastic restaurants. Our host was incredible. We felt very looked after, and nothing was too much. The house was immaculate and modern. The mid week clean was a nice bonus. Beautiful views and the villa facilities were excellent. Lots of space for us a family of 4. My teenage boys loved the basket ball court and pool! We would definitely book again.

Villa was in a good location outside main town but within walking distance of several restaurants. The Villa was well equipped and excellently maintained.

Everything! Honestly i cannot fault it, you know when you see photos online that look INCREDIBLE and you get there and its “ok” well i can assure you now the actual property is just as amazing (if not more) than the photos! Our host Manolis was everything you want in a host, there to greet us and see us off, helped with all our needs, booked us an incredible boat tour with a local Mike (highly recommend whilst here), stocked our fridge on arrival which was an extra generous touch. The property is huge and so well designed and the layout is amazing. We cannot wait to return in the next couple of years! The town is a short 5 minute €8 ride with taxis minutes away. The Olga Taverna a two minute walk away is delicious. Thank you so so much Manolis! Our family loved you and the villa!

The host was amazing and the property had all the amenities one could ask for. Amazing pool, great kitchen and all the needs for entertainment from foos ball to a weight room, basketball court and a sauna. Also a five minute walk to a wonderful beach. Would definitely come back!
