Villa Guájara by Villalia

Beautiful views all around the property. Everything was perfect from the comfy beds and sun loungers, the heated pool and garden seating area to the lovely lounge and bedrooms. Kitchen was basic but functional. Quiet and peaceful location with nice walks close by in particular the volcano walk which was right at the back of the property. Good water pressure so showers were really good. Hosts were quick to replace a toaster that wasn't working.

Bathrooms perhaps needed and upgrade but were still very clean and functional. I wouldn't let this put me off booking again though as everything else was spot on!

Open space - loads of room outside and the kitchen is well appointed with both dishwasher and washing machine

Unless you have a car it is a little far to get shopping easily. There is a mini market nearby though.

The pool area was fantastic. Plenty of seating area outside. Welcome package was a very nice touch.

The two single beds could do with better mattress.

The villa was tastefully decorated, and spotless clean. Heated pool was a bonus, easy to contact if anything was needed. Nice quiet spot. A little out of the way but we hired a car so was not a problem. Would recommend a stay here

The villa was lovely very quiet I would recommend hiring a car, enjoyed it so much I have booked again next year

This was the worst property I've ever stayed in. The chemicals in the pool gave our son a chemical burn that has left him permanently scarred. the boiler was leaking onto an electrical cable, the ceiling rose in the kitchen was hanging off and looked extremely unsafe. The tiles in one of the bathrooms were hanging off the wall, the toilet seat in one bathroom fell off. The bath in one bathroom was peeling off the base and the shower didn't work. The property is located directly above a garage that is used by the cleaners and pool men, so if you want to be woken up every day at 7am its ideal! The beds were so uncomfortable, one of the beds was a camping bed! Its literally a joke.

There was a lovely little selection of necessities to greet us, milk, coffee, biscuits etc! The living area & kitchen were lovely and well decorated, pretty modern and crisp! Dishwaher was a little bonus! As was 2 bathrooms! Outside area and pool were great size and well maintained. Nice outside area to chill in with views of montaña roja. And heated pool 👍 Staff were very helpful and responsive when needed!

Bathrooms need updating, a bit out of place with rest of the decor and furniture. Bedrooms are tastefully done but were a bit on the small side We would have liked a more flexible shade option in garden like a movable umbrella

Its obvious that the owners have had problems with the boiler as there is no hot water, a bucket had been placed under the boiler to collect the dripping hot water, this was constantly overflowing leaving pools of water on the floor. As the water seemed to be dripping through the electrical temperature control of the boiler this may have lead to electicution. We had to get washed using pans of hot water heated up from the kettle. We also thought the garage was for our car, it was actually used for the maintenance and storage facility for the properties. Having used booking.com for many years without problems we might have to look at other options in future.
