Villa Faro Park with private pool

The location was good for us. Close to shops & restaurants. The boules facility at the villa was a great addition, played every evening.

There was not enough outside comfy seating to relax in, only loungers which you could not sit up in and small low level tables were needed by the loungers to put drinks on. These simple additions would have made a big difference.

Excellent location within a 5 minute walk to quality restaurants, shops and bus stop for easy access to Playa Blanca. The villa and facilities made for a very comfortable and enjoyable relaxing stay. I especially liked the private garden and pool area.

Not having air conditioning would be a negative when the weather is hotter. As a solo traveler I tend to eat early and spend the evenings in the villa so I would have liked a greater choice of English speaking tv programmes. Not an issue if this had been explained in property details as I would have taken my laptop.

The pool had no shallow end

If I was being really picky I would say the sun loungers aren’t the most comfortable

Villa was lovely, as described, and in an excellent location. Host was helpful and quick to respond. Pool area is massive with options for sun/shade areas and is also quite sheltered from the wind. 2-3 minute walk to the local shops/bars/restaurants. Would recommend Le Moka, The Lounge Bar, Flor De Sal and Casual Seafood all of which are excellent.

Neighbors dog was occasionally annoying.

Location was perfect fir my wife with limited mobility

Possibly more glasses,as there where not many drinking glasses. Also maybe some small tables for the pool area.

Lovely villa, nice and clean with good facilities. As mentioned in other reviews, the location is great as it's close to a few bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Easy checkin and Cristina was very accommodating and helpful.

The Villa was exactly as described, and looked just like the photos. It was very clean, and tidy with all the facilities needed. Plenty of towels were provided for inside and the pool outside. The pool was lovely, and they have a pool man twice a week checking the heating and ensuring it was clean etc. I don't remember seeing it in the description but down the side of the villa is a simple boules court which we really enjoyed! The hosts were very quick to respond via the Booking.com app when we had questions. The location was fab, Faro is a quiter neighbourhood but the villa was very private, and only 5 minutes walk to some lovely restaurants and supermarkets.

There was no information inside the villa about the pool, or the kitchen etc. so we had to message the host for simple questions like where to take the bin bags and questions around the pool heating. There was a piece of paper with the wifi code and a number to contact for questions - however when we sent a message to the number it turned out they hadn't managed the property for over 6 years. A lady turned up at the villa, she was very polite but it was unexpected and she ripped the number from the paper. We did mention this to the hosts but didn't really get a response back about why this had happened? It didn't really affect our stay but it might be worth making it clear how you can contact the hosts and maybe leaving some basic instructions in the villa.
