Catia the host is an angel!!! She was so kind and always available even late at night or for urgent requests (she even helped us getting a taxi when we were stuck 2 hours away after hiking!!). Never seen such kindness and we loved her for that!! Thanks again Catia and we will definitely come back firstly for you, and for the spotless amazing house that was beyond expectations!! Bisouuus

Difficult to access parking

Beautiful comfortable home, extremely clean and well equipped. Fantastic views and Catia welcomed us to the home and was available if needed. There are a few really great restaurants in the area.

Not a real negative, but we normally like to walk to dinner. We could walk down to the town but it was too steep (after a meal) to walk back up. However, taxis are readily available later in the evening, so it was not a real problem.

It was an amazing place for our family. The house has a beautiful view of both mountains and the ocean. You can see the sun almost the whole day, it's dry and warm even when there is rain or wind in other parts of the island. The house is big and clean, and has all you need - a swimming pool, sports area, pool, cinema, big TV, plates, cups, hairdryers, secure parking, and anything you can imagine. There are 2 big supermarkets 10-15 min by car, as well as a fuel station with a small market in 5min. This place fits both long and short-term stay, we were there for almost a month and we always had something new and interesting to do there. Many thanks to Catia and Juan - wonderful people who met us, gave helpful advices about Madeira and gifted us with wine and fruits. Be sure to visit Catia's flower shop located 10min from the house to make a beautiful present for the one you love. Hard to imagine a better place than this, I hope to be back here to enjoy Ponta do Sol sunsets, running clouds and surrounding nature.

When the children saw it, they said, it's not a holiday house, but a palace! Everything was great. Catia is very caring and hospitable.

Very nice house, very quiet and well equipped with lot of amenities, cleanliness on top notch, nice pool and parking. Special note to the host Catia who is very kind and responsive. I definitely recommend this place.
