From the moment we arrived, red flags began to appear. The villa revealed its true age and neglect upon closer inspection - though it was difficult to tell that from the photos... The overpowering odor emanating from the bathroom was just unbearable and a stark reminder of its lack of cleanliness and upkeep. Moreover, the abundance of unmarked keys only added to the frustration of navigating through the property, causing unnecessary delays in accessing various doors. The kitchen was also a disappointment. Not only was the equipment in poor condition, but it was also unsanitary, evidenced by the discovery of old bread tucked away in a cupboard. Further exacerbating our discomfort was the malfunctioning door to my son's bedroom - it got stuck, and we couldn't open it. We stopped closing this door which left us feeling even more uncomfortable as it is impossible to do anything in the villa without making noise: creaking wardrobes added to the cacophony of issues... Additionally, the lack of privacy was striking. We could hear every single word from our neighbors, which made us feel like our personal space was constantly being invaded - not too mention the noise they were making until very late hours at night. However, the most distressing incident occurred when a significant amount of money mysteriously disappeared overnight. We left 150 euros on the table prepared to pay for the swimming pool heating - I also had another 80 euros in my bag on the sofa. Despite thorough searches, including scouring every nook and cranny of the villa, the missing money remained unaccounted for. The discovery of a broken lock on a window adjacent to where the money was left raised serious concerns about security and privacy. The rental agency responsible for the villa showed a disappointing lack of concern. Not only did they fail to apologize for the numerous issues we encountered, but they also seemed to downplay the seriousness of the situation with the lost money.

Very spacious and comfortable house, equipped with the washing machine, big smart TV and two bathrooms. Super clean and well maintened private pool was super nice to use - it has been additionally cleaned by a serviceman during our stay. There is also a garden barbeque - we used it three times to have some grilled seafood. 30 minutes (top) driving from the south airport, pretty much all via highways. Comfortable parking option on the quiet local street right outside the house. Walking distance to the restaurants and a dark-sand beach, but we've mainly used rent car to travel all around the island. Very supportive and helpful owner.

The villa had plenty of space and storage along with all the essentials needed for a long stay.
