Title: A Perfect Stay – Spacious, Thoughtful, and Truly Special We’ve just returned from an unforgettable 8-night stay at this beautiful villa, and I can honestly say it was one of the best holiday experiences we’ve ever had. There were 10 of us – all adults – and at no point did it ever feel cramped. The villa is exceptionally spacious and so well laid out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company without ever feeling on top of one another. It’s ideal for a group getaway and so much care has clearly gone into making it comfortable and functional for larger parties. The villa itself is gorgeous – light, airy, and stylishly decorated, with an effortless blend of comfort and elegance. Every room was spotless and beautifully maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing as a group or having some quiet time. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we loved having the option to eat in and enjoy long, leisurely meals together. One of the highlights was arriving to find a delicious homemade cake and a lovely bottle of local wine – such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. Outside, the pool area was an absolute dream – immaculate, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views. There were plenty of sun loungers and shaded spots, and it was the perfect place to spend lazy afternoons. The hosts had thought of everything to keep us comfortable and entertained. There was: • A ping pong table that kept us all entertained with friendly competitions • A great selection of board games and a PlayStation for chilled evenings • A washer and airer, which made things really easy during our stay • Beach towels provided, which was such a helpful touch The villa’s location is ideal – private and serene, but still just a short drive from great beaches, tavernas, and charming local spots to explore.

The location was excellent - on the hillside overlooking Chania, with views of the sea. One of the best parts of the trip was sitting on the patio by the pool watching the sun set over the sea. The villa was in its own grounds (including its own little vineyard producing excellent wine!) in a quiet secluded location, but just six minutes drive into the town centre and 10 minutes to the beach. Chania itself is a fabulous city with great restaurants, shops, historical features and beaches. Visitors are mainly Greek and European (& some Americans) and it has a more stylish upmarket feel than Heraklion and the resorts further west on the island. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who showed us around and were helpfully offered all the information we needed. There were a number of terraces and verandas offering peace and privacy. The bedrooms were airy, spacious and comfortable, each with their own bathroom, air conditioning and most with balconies. Our room had a walk-in wardrobe, jacuzzi bath and it’s own terrace with sun-bed, overlooking the sea. The beds and sofas were very comfortable and the bedding quality excellent. We were a group of ten with ages from 1-70 years old and well catered for. There was a bouncy castle and swings area for children, a gym/ games room with wide screen tv and of course the pool which features remote activated jets of water and sequenced coloured lights. For total privacy there was separate accommodation by the pool with a bathroom carved into the bedrock. The facilities were excellent, whether you order food in (easy to do) or are a gourmet cook. The owner Goya shared her many local contacts including a masseuse who came to the house for a girls pampering morning and was excellent. We couldn’t fault Casa di Goya and would definitely like to return.

An amazing Villa. The photos don’t do it justice. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the breathtaking views down into Chania and the bay. The villa is huge with so much private internal and external space. The quality of the villa itself was outstanding. Beautifully finished and furnished and equipped with literally everything you could need. Externally, the pool, the terraces and the gardens are gorgeous and the table tennis table was a fun feature well used by our family. Goya and Alex were wonderful hosts. Available when we needed them but not intrusive. They gave us great beach and restaurant recommendations. We hired a private chef for a Greek banquet to celebrate my husband and I’s 60th birthdays and had a breakfast made for us on our last morning. Both were excellent. Literally the perfect holiday. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic villa and location overlooking Chania town. Gogia is an excellent host and was waiting for us on arrival, and gave us a tour of the Villa. The handover was very smooth, and we received a good explanation on how to use everything. The pool and facilities are excellent, and the view is breathtaking, watching sunsets every evening. All rooms are air conditioned. Garden BBQ area and table is also great for socialising and eating outside. Only 5 minutes from supermarkets for groceries and ameneties, and a short drive into Chania town. Recommend a car, there is ample parking at the Villa.

Amazing and spacious villa, everything was super modern and clean! The hosts were amazing too, our group is really grateful for all the help and regular small treats :)

Slightly too far from the city center and beaches, so be ready to rent a car or use a taxi quite often
