La Fiora Old Town Chania

In Anbetracht, dass es sich hier um ein authentisches orginales Altstadthaus (!) handelt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Hier hat wirklich jemand gewohnt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man muss allerdings Altstadtfläir lieben. Küche (kühle Temperatur) im Erdgeschoß. Je ein Doppelbetten in der 1. Und 2. Etage. Dann ein kleineres Bett in der Halbetage zur Dachterrasse, die ein Traum war. (Dieses Bett nicht für kleine Kinder.) Der Weg von unten nach oben ist lang und sehr steil. Nichts für Personen mit Schwindelgefühl auf extrem steilen Treppen. Auch gab es genug Schränke und Bügel, was in neugebauten sterilen Apartments meist fehlt. Es gab auch keine unnötige Kitschdekoration, kein „Rest“besteck oder Geschirr wie es manchmal zu finden ist. Alles normal in Gebrauch und sauber. Als die 2. Kaffeemaschine defekt war gab am gleichen Tag eineNeue. Dies haben wir auch so schnell noch nie erlebt. Danke

Die Gastgeberin hat versucht den Gästen viele Sitzoptionen zu ermöglichen. Vielleicht derein oder andere Stuhl weniger und der Glastisch in der 1. Etage erzeugt eine starke Beengtheit. Ob die Wohnung wegen das offenen Treppenhauses welches durch die gesamten Räume geht wirklich für 5 Personen geeignet ist, ist fraglich. Zu Zweitund mit 2 Kinder gehts aber.

a great old town experience! the house consists of three floors (kitchen -> bedroom 1 -> bedroom 2 ) & a roof top terrace, tastefully furnished & fully equiped. Located within the pedestrian zone of the old town, couple of minutes walk to the venetian harbour, great offer of restaurants cafes shops. You get a glismpe of how the locals were living in this beautiful town. Very friendly & communicative hostess, Noni.

Wooden staircases to go up the rooftop, are a bit narrow. Not reccomended for older people.

Tolle Lage, viel Platz und sauber! Die Vermieterin war hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht! Kaltes Wasser, Kaffee, Früchte und Snacks standen für uns bei der Ankunft bereit.

We had a wonderful time in Katherina's holiday house! Stylishly and practically furnished, cozy and very comfortable. We felt very welcome. Whether relaxing in the evening on the roof terrace or sitting outside amidst the hustle and bustle of the city during the day with a cup of tea, there was plenty of variety. And we considered living in the heart of Chania a great privilege. We enjoyed our stay very much. We also enjoyed visiting the beach, which is within walking distance, and several cozy taverns. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and we highly recommend the house!
