This is one of my favourite hotels in Southeast Asia. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms and the hotel itself are lovely, old colonial type digs, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, provided with coffee, tea, juice and a range of options to eat including pancakes, omelettes, rice dishes and noodle with different meet. You will also get a small bowl of fruit and a great view of the river. This is the best complimentary hotel breakfast I've ever had - delicious and full of charm. Excellent location, within walking distance of everything worth seeing.

Perfect location to explore this UNESCO heritage town on foot. We spent six days there and just loved it. From the magical Mekong River cruise, to taking the ferry and walk the old trail. Excellent staff, wonderful breakfast options highlighting a different fruit every day. Tom was very kind, knowledgeable, speaks English, is able to arrange transportation and suggestions of what to do and see. There is laundry option offering next day return.
