"loved it!"

huge spaces, decaying grandeur being restored with verve. great location with facilities nearby. helpful responsive people

the road is very busy and although it doesn’t intrude because the house is in big gardens it is perilous to walk to the shop and café. it was a little cold in the evening (we stayed in Jan during some bad weather). and the garden could do with some tlc - I was itching to get my hands on it!

"Palatial proportions"

Beautiful villa. Like staying in a palace with the art, high ceilings and antiques. Loved the courtyard and the hot tub.

The villa itself is fab. Walking to local shops and restaurant on a busy main road with no footpaths takes some getting used to.
