Little Heaven by Sky Hive, A Beach Front Bungalow

The beach. My dog loves to play in the water and the sand. We had a great time.

The rules. There were just too many. Made it difficult to relax. And we had a bit of trouble with the small gate that gave access to the beach. The lock on the gate had rusted and we had a lot of trouble getting it open.

The house is very large and located directly by the sea. You can walk straight from the property down to the beach, which was almost completely empty during our stay. At times it really felt like having a private beach, which was a wonderful experience and the main highlight of the property.

Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. The house is very old, worn down, and not clean. Overall it felt neglected and “run down” rather than comfortable or fresh. The kitchen is very poorly equipped. The plates are plastic and visibly yellowed from age, with only basic cutlery available. The refrigerator is extremely old, smells bad, and is very noisy. The washing machine leaks water into the room when in use. The furniture, appliances, and general condition of the house are outdated and function poorly. There were no beach towels provided, and overall the amenities were far below expectations. While this might have been acceptable for a much cheaper stay, we paid approximately 13,245 MYR for seven nights, which is a very high price in Malaysia. At that price point, we expected a clean, well-maintained, and comfortable home — unfortunately, this was not the case. The overall feeling was simply unclean and shabb
