A little too hot.

The village

Two families with kids we booked this place at end of May, as we wanted a villa with a pool for us and the kids to have fun. The selection of an accommodation with a pool was of paramount importance to us and a governing criterion for this vacation. We prepaid our stay in full (2.400 euro) prior arrival through booking.com. Upon arrival, the pool was very dirty (one pic where the colour is still blue) and the bottom was full with dirt. We complained and were told by the manager that the pool was cleaned the previous day, which was clearly a lie! Anyway, they sent a technician twice during our stay, however the pool was immediately getting very dirty again and the recirculation was not working. When WE raised the issue of the recirculation failure, we were told (after 5 days of our stay, while the pool was still unusable) that the filtering system is not working and needs maintenance! Meanwhile we were previously told to enter the pool without concerns! As it turns out, there was a health risk since the water started getting more and more dirty by the day. Eventually, 4 days after our arrival, it reached that yellow-green colour all over, as you can see in the pics. We were complaining every day, lost precious vacation time and spoiled our mood for not having a proper accommodation as was advertised and well paid. In return, after exhaustive hours of communication, the landlady refunded us with only 8% of the price, i.e. 212 euro of the total 2.400, which is absurd and insulting considering all the above. She even confronted us with "you should have asked to stay someplace else upon arrival", when it was entirely her fault that the place was not maintained, not according to description and also we were always comforted that they will fix it (or even that they HAD fixed it)! This is by far the worst touristic experience our families had in years and the attitude was dubious and eventually insulting. We all feel conned by the selection
