Bangtao Boutique Villa

Very well equipped villa, close to a nearby 7-11 which was really helpful. Spacious rooms and toilets which is adequate for 2 to 3 families to stay!

The villa is well constructed, clean, efficient and has pretty much everything you need for a family vacation. Pool and landscaping was also wonderful.

It’s slightly off the beaten path but there’s a 7-11 witching walking distance. Definitely need a car.

The property is owned and managed by a Thai couple, and they are both lovely and very helpful. They assisted us in finding a rental car, fixing my laptop (a key came loose during my visit), assisting to order take away from a local restaurant (before we found Grab food!), amongst many other acts of kindness. We were away for a couple of days during which the power went out. When I jokingly advised Wit (the proprietor) that my beer was warm, he generously delivered cold beer to me; he is a really great guy. About the place itself: 1. It is very spacious and comfortalble, good hot showers, great couch for lounging and watching movies on streaming serviecs, etc. 2. The kitchen is very well equiped with all the modcons one would need including hot/cold water filter, coffee maker, cooking wares, huge fridge....its a nice space. 3. The pool is huge and wonderful. 4. There is a covered "sala" which is an outdoor seating area with a remote controlled fan / lights. This is crucial as it permits one to enjoy the outdoors during rain. 5. There is a small lake adjacent to the property and at dusk, the clouds turn a beautiful red/orange, it is really magical. 6. There are four large outdoor speakers that can be connected to by bluetooth, great for playing ones own music. 7. The place is generally quiet with lots of birdsong. 8. A nice orange cat likes to sleep on a chair in the sala, he departs if he is distrubed, but is nice in any event. I highly recommend this place, for its comfort, great location, and amenities, but more for the wonderful hospitality of Wit and his wife.
