Beautiful authentic Tuscan villa that brings you back to years prior.

The outdoor swimming pool is a stand alone pool which was less inviting.

Wonderful location, beautiful grounds with the olive trees, all the beautiful seating areas and pool (which saved us in the August heat!). We also really enjoyed and appreciated the kid friendly stuff in the lawn for our daughter to play with, and having a washing area to do laundry. We also loved being able to buy olive oil that they directly make as well. The hosts were so easy to reach and so warm and welcoming and helpful.

Received message from host 4 days before travel saying she had to admit our late flight was a problem for her. Consequently we had to pay €75 for a driver recommended by the host to collect us from the airport and let us into property at 10.30pm as checkin closes at 7pm There was absolutely no option by the host to let us make our own way there - not sure how it works if you arrive late by hire car Checkout strictly 10-12 allowed to stay in gardens and pool but no toilet facilities or courtesy room if on a late flight which was not convenient in 38 degree heat Host then solved the problem by recommending her friends restaurant a bit further away where it would be cooler for a meal prior to flight she said she would find us a driver and it would cost €60 to take us there then €40 to airport - however then there was no driver available because I hadn’t got straight back to the host to confirm so we were advised we could use the toilet in the local cafe Host then also mentioned a local hotel with a daily rate to use pool - but could not say what it would be like as it had recently changed owners We ended up using this option they were very accommodating had the full day at the pool lunch included in the price they stored our luggage and booked a taxi to the airport for us This is a beautiful villa and host tried her best and I appreciate it is a family business and they have a life but due to the very strict check in and checkout times and options recommended to do so which are costly I would not recommend the property to any one on later flights - especially in summer months as no facilities to freshen up which would not be a problem if not so hot!

The person who met us, Laura, was awesome! She took her time to describe the villa, the neighborhood and answer all the questions we had upon arrival. She really helped make out stay a stupendous experience. She would check in with us, assist with dinner reservations and suggestions on transportation and travel in the area. The rooms we had at the villa were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There was not much of a living room, which didn't matter as there was ample places to sit outside our apartment as well as on the grounds. The people staying at the villa were friendly and came from a wide variety of places. It was great sharing about our trips and even ended up adjusting our itinerary slightly based upon our conversations. We didn't want to stay in Florence, but wanted to be able to easily travel there. It is a 15 min. walk (5 min. drive, with no problem finding parking) and a 45 minute train ride. Once we figured out how to validate the train ticket before entering the train, the rest of the travel was easy.

We were excited to participate in a cooking class. However, the owner was sick and not available. This was a small disappointment. Everything else was great.

We had an early flight and it was difficult to get transport back to the airport. The air conditioning settings where not clear, it looked like they where controlled externally by a timer, to be honest we didnt ask and it wasnt a problem, but would like to have had full control when we needed. There are mosquito blinds however there where gaps, so we had some mosquitos, again no real issue.

the place is very beautifull feels like youre in the middke of nowhere but in close ride to the city nice staff and very helpfull if your in need of activities or if uou dont understand something amazing gardens and pool feels megical!
