Villa Raima

Beautiful Villa well maintained with excellent facilities. 10 minute walk to main beach and restaurants and bars..very safe if you have kids

There's nothing bad to say about this Villa and location. We have stayed in several Villas over the years and this is by far the best one we stayed in

We had a lovely stay at Villa Raima (Villa A) and would definitely look to stay again if we head back to Lanzarote. The villa had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The outside area was spacious, with a much needed covered seating area that had lots of games to keep our little boy occupied. The pool wasn't large, but was big enough for kids to play and to cool off - it even had inflatables that we could use. Air conditioning is available in lounge and bedrooms, but isn't always needed as the villa seemed to stay quite cool. The pool was a nice temperature too. We had hired a car to see as much of the island as possible, as it really does have some beautiful places to visit. There's offroad parking available at the villa. The walk into Playa Blanca was an easy 10 minute walk. Into Marina Rubicon was a little longer, but was a nice walk along the promenade. The owner, Carmen, seems to have thought of everything to make her guests feel welcome and was quick to respond to any questions we had over Whatsapp. There was even a bottle of wine and some chocolates waiting for us. We have really enjoyed our two weeks here - we were all sad to leave!

The photos do not do the villa justice. There are 2 villas available and we stayed in villa A which was for older children. This included outdoor game tables, toys and inflatables. The outdoor area is excellent. Plenty of space to sit together and also areas to have your own space. The kids (age 6 & 10) loved the sofas in the shade to relax after swimming and the adults enjoyed the sun loungers & outdoor dining area. Completely private & not overlooked at all. Pool is not too cold but still a good temperature to cool you down on a hot day. The children spent their days playing with pool toys and the inflatables which were provided. The BBQ area was fantastic. The outdoor area & pool were the highlight of our holiday. The indoor area, though small, has everything you need. Good sized tv in the living area & comfortable reclining sofas. It’s not very modern inside, but this did not affect our stay. The villa was clean & having 2 bathrooms was great. The kitchen is small but you can work with it as it has all the essentials you need. The large double fridge freezer was a godsend to store water and ice lollies. We also used Just Eat one night for a takeaway delivery which was nice. There is a safe available for your valuables which is useful. Wifi signal was good and the aircon was great. The host Carmen was lovely & was always available to answer queries. The pool was cleaned once on our 2 week stay and the beds and towels also got changed once. The villa is roughly a 15minute walk into playa Blanca which is great. The closest supermarket is the same. We didn’t hire a car as the centre is so close. We found that if we did one big shop each week at the Super Dino we could get a taxi at the rank outside to take it back. Which is around €5 and takes 5minutes. For top up items like water etc we put these in a backpack and walked back. It’s handy to have your own carrier bags in your bag to carry other items. Overall, a fantastic stay.

A welcome pack with useful numbers and villa information would be a good idea. However, this is purely a suggestion. Carmen was always available via WhatsApp to answer anything you needed.

Villa Raima is managed by people who care about the families that choose to stay here and you can see it from the first time you walk through the door. Complementary chocolate and wine, plenty of towels, blankets and inflatables to use in the pool. Everything was spotless, we've been impressed by their kindness and hospitality. The kitchen is well equipped, you can easily cook as at home or make barbecue, you have some condiments and even some capsules for coffee. There's lots of games for kids and adults to play, which is nice to do on a windy day, on the porch. We loved it the whole time there! Thank you Carmen!

Pictures don't do justice to this beautiful villa. Perfect place for kids with a lot of toys and stuff to do. It was a bit windy in march during our stay, but pool is warmed up so it's still possible to take a swim :)
