Swimming pool is great, perfect for kids. Lot of bedrooms and 3 bathrooms ! House is in a quiet area, with a beautiful view ! The house is also well equipped. We really enjoyed ! Thank you !

"Very large, comfortable house - great accommodation for a group."

We had a great 2-week stay at Casa da Edite. We were two couples travelling together. The house is very large so no problem to spread out. We had fires in the fireplace on damp, chilly evenings and used the outdoor cooking fire as well. Pool was cool but we swam in it several times. The hosts (Nelia and her father) were very accommodating. There were a couple of small grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Overall a great experience at the house. 10/10.

This has nothing to do with the house per se but for those who don't know Madeira, the house is at nearly 600m elevation (great for views!) so roads down to either Ponta do Sol or Madalena do Mar (i.e., in either direction) are very steep, twisty and on the edge of some cliffs. If you have any sense of vertigo it can be challenging(!) and you may wish to consider something at lower elevations.

"Perfect house for relaxing holidays"

Quiet location, good view, secured parking provided. Very kind hosts who provided us with welcome package of fruits and eggs. House is equipped with everything needed for a week stay. Everything was clean inside and outside. Host was available all the time for all questions on WhatsApp. We're simply returning back once!

The house is amazing. Really comfortable, clean, great location for hikes and other attractions. The host was very kind to us, always ready to help us if we needed anything. It is a perfect accomodation for a group of friends or a family with kids. Worth every penny of your money!

The rooms got a bit damp at night, but I think it was because of the weather.
