Luis I

Lovely pool and outdoor area.

Needed more kitchen utensils and outdoor furniture needs to be updated.

We enjoyed our time at Vila Luis 1 and think it is the best situated of the four Luis villas. The villa is comfortable and close to supermarkets including Lidl and Spar, several bars and restaurants with our favourite being El Polaco just 300 metres away. Excellent communication from Luis the owner and addressed issues very quickly. Great to have all five UK terrestial channels available on the TV and the pool was heated albeit sometimes still seemed cold! Good cooking facilities in the kitchen area with full cooker, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine and plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Lovely large bed in main bedroom with two singles in second bedroom.

Although Luis 1 has two bathrooms, neither are situated on the main level so you either had to go up or down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom which would not suit everyone! The WIFI works well on the main living level and outside but signal virtually disappears when you are either up or downstairs. We did experience some noise from the Villa Aria next door, two different groups of young people on differnt bookings but mostly we only had light noise from the road nearby.

Spacious house, big comfy bed and all the utensils you need for cooking etc. 5 minutes from a big Lidl. 15 minutes walk to main strip. Was nice and quiet during our stay.

No air conditioning. The pool was supposed to be heated but we found the water very cold - it took your breath away. It also wasn't covered so was full of bugs and debris - a cover would fix this. There was also some Ants in the kitchen.

Good position, easy walk to harbour or strip clean comfortable

To be value for money it requires some TLC and modernisation.
