Villa Colmenar

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Und trotz Sprachbarriere waren sie sehr bemüht. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Räume waren ausreichend groß und das Wohnzimmer, sowie die Küche waren sehr groß. Es waren mind. 3 Bäder vorhanden. Es gab einen Pool. Es fielen keine Gebühren für das WLAN an.

Leider ist das Haus sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der vorhandene Fön war defekt, das Geschirr zusammen gewürfelt und angeschlagen. Gleiches gilt für die Inneneinrichtung, den Pool, sowie die Küchengeräte.

Spacious and decent pool

Property a bit outdated and would benefit from air conditioning - heat unbearable in August - we had to purchase an extra fan. Some aspects of the property require a serious deep clean.

Los jardines de la casa y la piscina, fenomenales ambos. Si se hace la vida en verano al aire libre, como fue nuestro caso, se está muy a gusto.

La casa, en general, necesita una buena reforma y mucho mantenimiento. No está suficientemente limpia, incluso con presencia de bichos en los baños. Tampoco tiene suficiente menaje de cocina en buenas condiciones. Tampoco suficiente material de limpieza. Es una pena, porque la casa es espaciosa y, con una buena reforma y actualización, podría ser magnífica.

The hosts were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The villa is really big, large garden space, secure and the pool is fantastic! We loved the location, lots of parks nearby and easy to drive to shopping Mall/supermarkets. Train station not far to take a direct train to central Madrid. Proximity to the mountains was incredible, for exploring new places. We loved it!

A floor plan of the property would have been beneficial to see that two of the bedrooms and bathroom is external to the main house, up some steep steps. Also additional air conditioning fans would be helpful, one for each bedroom as it was very hot and there were only 2.

Lovely hosts and good location for our event.

Could use with a light modernisation, hosts could have left water and coffee as a nice gesture, our rental car was parked outside and we caught a man breaking into it!
