Villa Macuti by SAPvillas

Cleanliness, quietness of the area, garden and pool.

Surprised at lack of basic foodstuffs..tea, coffee, condiments.

Location. Bathroom design and showers. Communication via WhatsApp with SAP was good.

Not as advertised ! There are only 2 bathrooms not 3 (the 3rd is a tiny toilet not bathroom) 2 twin beds were old and uncomfortable. Couldn’t open a bedroom door leading to patio as was broken and took a few days to fix (no light or fresh air). Garden furniture missing as was broken. Some sunbeds had cracks in them (again not same as in pics). Some kitchen cupboards were wonky and wouldn’t close. Net curtains hanging off railings. Quite a few mosquito bites had by my group. Also had a furniture delivery during my stay !? (Surely this makes sense to do this when guests aren’t staying at the property?) No net to clean the swimming pool and was dirty upon arrival. Had to ask for a pool man to come clean it , and he arrived a day later then advised.

This is a lovely villa in a great location, perfect for a family stay. Set in a lovely residential area, Macuti has a modest front which leads to a real wow factor when you open the front door. Spacious, tastefully decorated, it has everything you need.

The Wi-Fi was very temperamental but was a tiny inconvenience. The overnight garden sprinklers were a surprise! Great for the garden but they have filled the sun lounger cushions with water which made them scorching hot when the sun got on them.
