Villa Kore Elafonissi

Das Haus befindet sich sehr abgelegen von dem Tourismus. Wer die absolute Erholung sucht ist hier super aufgehoben. Trotz der nicht zentralen Lage kann man innerhalb von einer Stunde viele interessante Ziele erreichen.

We stayed at Villa Kore Elafonissi and overall found the accommodation to be very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The view from the property is absolutely stunning — peaceful and panoramic, ideal for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature. The house itself is lovely, has everything you might need, and the host was incredibly welcoming and warm. If you’re prepared for the remoteness and potential insect challenges, it’s a beautiful spot to escape from the world.

It’s important to be aware that the villa is in a very remote location. You will absolutely need a car to get around — the nearest beach, supermarket, or restaurant is not within walking distance. In our case, it took at least 45 minutes to reach the beach of our choice, although there are some closer alternatives as well. The major downside to our stay, unfortunately, was the ant problem. The house was full of ants — especially in the kitchen and the outdoor seating area — to the point where it made the stay quite difficult. Any food, even if sealed in packaging or containers, was quickly overrun, and within seconds of putting something down or sitting outside, ants would be crawling on you, often leaving bites and painful red spots. Preparing meals in the kitchen was a real challenge as ants would climb on ingredients and on us almost immediately. While we understand the villa is in a natural setting and these things can happen, we found that sprays and other remedies didn’t help at all, and it significantly impacted our comfort during the stay.

The property was clean and well appointed. The view of the sea and sunsets was exceptional, we needed a quiet restful break and this property was everything we had hoped for, the host was very friendly and helpful, our whole family loved it.

There is nothing negative to say, it is worth noting that you will need a car to reach the property and to go to the shops and tavernas.
