Stella House ステラハウス

The House has an interesting layout and in principal does its job to accommodate people. However, the pictures are over promising. The house is much smaller than you think, and 4 bedrooms means one is part of the roof truss with no door and so low that even a child cannot properly walk. Bath was quite nice. Communication was effective in terms of response time. Check-in guideline said we have a sauna, but this was a mistake due to a generalized document used for multiple houses. Strange.

Definitely no view out from the patio to Mt. Fuji or anywhere else. There are massive trees and maybe in winter you see something but through leave-less trees then. The conditions of the house was worn. Bar table in the kitchen was losing paint, and all walls show visible signs of use (scratches, dents, peel offs). Sink in bath felt like it falls down soon (angled). Couch in living room accommodates 3 persons max. Heating in first floor not so strong, especially living room and kitchen lack. If you heat stronger, 2F is hot a hell and 1F still chilly. We were there in October… location is a bit strange. Next to a tennis court (noise), others nothing around, not a residential area nor industrial. Not welcoming at least. We can compare, having rented multiple big houses in Japan FYI. Price is way too high for what you get. We will not return.

Lovely modern house, comfortable and very clean. It had everything we needed.

Perhaps some comfy chairs or sofa downstairs to relax on would be nice

・ステラシアターから徒歩２分程で、終演後の車渋滞に巻き込まれることもなくすぐに部屋に戻り寛ぐことが出来、利便性が良い。 ・部屋数も多く、広々として快適。部屋やキッチンも清潔。 ・チェックイン/アウトが簡単。 ・メールで質問すると、丁寧に返信してくれる。

・ケータリングサービスがあるとなお良いなと思いました。もしくは、ケータリング可能なお店や、近隣の飲食店、スーパーマーケット等の紹介リストがあるだけでも助かります。

This was a beautiful place to stay, in a park location, with nicely appointed features, and plenty of room to relax after a busy schedule of sightseeing. Within a 5 minute walk, there were beautiful views of Mt Fuji, a convenience store and a shopping centre. This was our favourite place to stay in all of Japan.

The house is very well furnished and built and it was clean. It has large beds and everything is comfortable. Driving there is easy. We visited only for 1 night because we participated in the Fuji Hill Climb challenge but we wished we stayed there longer. the house is not very far from Hokoroku park where the race starts. They kindly allowed us to park our cars in their office parking lot even after checkout.

There is only a tiny L shaped armchair in the living room limiting the free space to sit. There are multiple chairs around a round desk but If there are 6 people staying there it not super comfortable to use the living space. You would always have to sit on a not so comfortable chair. A few of the kitchen equipment was dirty and we had to rewash everything we use. I wish they built another toilet upstairs. All the available toilets are next to the room on the first floor. When multiple people use them in the middle of the night it can be noisy for the people staying in that room.
