Villa Christina Luxury

Difficult to know where to start. It is in a beautiful little spot right on a lovely quiet little beach. The villa has everything you could need including a generous welcome pack. All little details were thought of. Georgia, the host, was friendly and helpful. The lake and an ancient temple with a beautiful swimming spot are a short drive away. We had four days here but would have loved to stay for longer.

Φοβερή τοποθεσία, και το σπίτι πολύ άνετο. Ήμασταν 4 ζευγάρια με 2 παιδάκια και πραγματικά ήταν πολύ βολικό για όλους μας. Kids friendly σίγουρα. Αξεπέραστο το γεγονός ότι η παραλία είναι όντως ιδιωτική και στα 2 βήματα από την αυλή του σπιτιού. Ευχαριστούμε για την φιλοξενία!

Location, comfort, privacy, access to the beach, warm and kind host.

Municipality’s problem of not finding a solution with rubbish collection close to the villa.

Location is amazing, the view from the garden absolutely beautiful. Chillout, silence, sea is super clean and the amount of urchins is mamageable. There's a lot of place to sit in the garden so we could find a place to be comfortable at every moment of the day. Not many restaurants nearby but there's one 15m by car which is fine and not too expensive. The garden is big and rather safe for children. The owner quickly brought us a new coffee machine when the old one turned out to be out of order. The landscape and the nature around is beautiful. Bed mattresses are fine. Grill is a nice addition, too. Nice fish market in Loutraki to compliment the grill. Internet is good enough (10 mbps).

The house is quite old and underinvested and it tells. Lots of stuff is broken, there's tons of unnecessary stuff at every corner. Looking from the garden it looks very nice but when you look closely, it doesn't match the photos, unfortunately. It was probably quite a nice place to live 20 years ago, but nowadays, for this price it's disappointing. - Messy. Old food in the cupboards, old stuff from previous guests makes this place hard to clean, I guess. Mokka pot full of moldy coffee, cigarette buds here and there etc. - Separate room / apartment doesn't make sense - you might have hard time accommodating more than 8 people comfortably. - Lots of stuff is broken, like cracks in tiles, walls, some cables sticking out of walls, broken glass on the electric stovetop, stains on couches and torn mattresses in the garden and a lot more. - The green stuff in the garden is not grass, it's some kind of plastic carpet. - Broken pedal boat on the beach, which is just a giant piece of garbage right now. - Grill is nice, but incomplete and partially broken and not cleaned. - Payment process is a bit cumbersome and worrying. First, the owner said that he cannot charge our card through booking.com becuase of a broken POS and he wants cash. We settled for a bank transfer after contacting booking.com. And then we gave a 300 eur deposit in cash for the damages and didn't receive it when we left the house, but only a few days later by a bank transfer. We received the whole amount, but it's not a nice experience given the amount of broken stuff in the house. This place could use a renovation (even a small one would do wonders) and very thoroguh cleanup. And removal of all the garbage left by previous guests. Right now, the only thing that makes the price understandable is the beautiful location by the beach.
