The villa is well-equipped and has everything you need – a stove, a dishwasher, and even an oven. Since we live in Northern Europe, being able to eat and spend our evenings outside is very important to us, so everything here was absolutely perfect. There is a wonderful outdoor dining area with a sea view for breakfast, and a rooftop terrace that is ideal for spending evenings with a glass of wine. The small pool is also a great place to cool off on a hot day. The location is really good if you want to explore the nearby towns. If you are looking for a sandy beach, it’s only about 25 km to the other side of the peninsula. There are two great restaurants just 200–300 meters from the villa, so dining is never an issue. If you prefer a quiet evening in, you can grab a takeaway pizza from Dedalo restaurant (they have a huge pizza oven! :) ) and enjoy it on the terrace with a glass of wine and a sea view. About 300 meters away, there is a trail leading to a grotto. The host recommended it to us, and the views are truly stunning (just make sure to wear proper shoes, as it gets quite rocky). You can also swim just 300–400 meters down from the villa, even without water shoes. Although there are signs prohibiting it, the locals swim there too :). The host was incredibly helpful and provided us with tons of useful information. A huge thank you to him for the frizante welcome drink and the local sweets he gifted us upon departure. De Cottage ligt op een prachtige plek en we hebben kunnen genieten van mooi weer en zelfs in het fijne badje gedipt. Er zijn veel zitjes buiten en in de keuken vond je alles wat je nodig hebt. Er is een heerlijke buitendouche en drie prima slaapkamers. De gastheer Donato geeft heel veel goede tips in de buurt. Er begint een prachtige wandelroute langs de ruige kust op loopafstand en er zijn twee restaurants vlakbij die in april alleen in het weekend open zijn. Ideale plek voor rustzoekers

Er valt weinig te klagen over deze fijne plek. Er zijn een aantal verbeteringen mogelijk. De matrassen zijn ok, maar toe aan vervanging. Er zijn veel pannen alleen maar 1 kleine koekenpan, een hapjespan zou fijn zijn. Het is vochtig in het huisje, kleding en beddengoed voelt wat klam aan. Een luchtontvochtiger is een goede toevoeging.

De host Donato is heel gastvrij, het ontvangst was heel hartelijk , we kregen de nodige informatie over het domein en hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf. Je krijgt veel tips die je helpen om het beste uit je verblijf te halen, van bezienswaardigheden tot supermarkten in de buurt tot fijne eetgelegenheden.

Location of the Villa is perfect for visits of the cities in the area. The rooftop Terrasse with the pool is good for relaxing and enjoying the view of the Italian sea. We enjoyed a November week with possibility to swim in the open sea or walk along the coast at stable weather conditions. With all the information provided from the host we have spent a perfect week.

The house is clean, fresh and well equipped in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Beautiful garden with several seating areas and a fantastic roof terrace with spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea, a view as beautiful in sunshine as in rain and stormy weather. Walking distance to the beach and two nice restaurants. Cottage Vittoria is a perfect starting point for daily excursions to discover Salento with its fascinating and interesting history, culture and nature. A very positive surprise for us was the beautiful hiking trail to Il Ciolo via Grotto Cipolliane which started right next to the house. The travel party varied from 2-6 people. For 6 people the villa can feel somewhat small on a rainy day, in sunny weather this is not a problem thanks to the cozy patios. For 2 people it’s luxury✨ The host Donato and his father are excellent hosts, very helpful and service minded, they gave us many nice recommendations of good restaurants and interesting places to visit. Thank you for two fantastic weeks of holiday at your lovely Cottage Vittoria!

Fantastic roof terrace with amazing views, close to the Marina. Host very helpful & attentive - gave great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, beaches and boat trip (everyone a winner).
