Villa Maona - con piscina tra Firenze e Pisa

The views of the Tuscan hillside from the living room and swimming pool are outstanding; even better than the pictures. The villa layout is good for groups with the bedrooms situated away from the main living areas. Paolo our host was very helpful and responsive to our requests and we are very appreciative of his recommendations for both Fabrizio (taxi driver) and Nicole (private chef) who made the trip even more delightful. Three generations of family all enjoyed the stay.

Would be great to have some ice trays in the freezer and the pillows could be upgraded. However, not insurmountable changes.

the bedrooms were all a lovely size and plenty of bathrooms too. The pool was fantastic- great views and no shallow end so perfect for adults to swim. Perfect temperature in the pool to get straight in but to take the heat off you as well. My mum (in her 80s!) however is quite short and could only just touch the bottom on tiptoe so was lucky we had taken a lilo! The air conditioning worked well and property was nice and cool. The pool table, table tennis and table football were great fun.

There was no washing up liquid or cloths to wipe down the counters/wash any pans up so had to buy some but maybe this is normal. For us British, the cups were too small for a decent cuppa but am sure this is not a problem for other nationalities.
