Lovely villa within 5 mins walking distance to Lidl and approx 15 min walk downhill to front (not ideal for less mobile) Good choice of cooking utensils, facilities (dishwasher, washing machine, air con/heating) The villa and pool was cleaned whilst we were there and towels/bedding changed which was appreciated. 6 sun loungers, sun umbrellas and plenty of outdoor seating.

The Main double bedroom is on the main road and there's traffic noise at night and also dogs barking/howling all-day/nt whilst we were there which effected our sleep. We visited at Christmas from 18/26 Dec and paid for a heated pool but unfortunately we don't think it had been turned on as it was cold, we contacted Maria and she apologised and sent the pool man out to check and I believe he then turned it on.. Unfortunately it took 4 days out of our 8 day holiday for the pool to warm up (because of the size of it) and for us to be able to use it which was disappointing but Maria did refund us 4 days pool heating charge and once it was warm it was a pleasure to use. Lounge furniture could be updated to be more comfortable and to cater for 6 to sit down (evenings were too cold to sit outside) and only seating for 4 in lounge

What a great villa! I shall go through everything I can think of that will help you decide if this is the place for you. Firstly it's a great size. We're a family of 4. Plenty of towels and Maria gives you a huge beach towel each for the pool too. Which was lucky because it rained heavily 4 days out of 7 and it was coming in under the door in the utility and in one of the bedrooms! So I just popped some towels down to soak it up. If you somehow run out of towels there's a washing machine and outside drying area. (Bring your own washing powder). We didn't pay to have the pool heated as we brought wetsuits for snorkeling. The beds were comfortable. There was a storm for most of our time in Lanzarote so we made full use of the heaters (air con when it's warm) in the bedrooms as well as the extra blankets in the wardrobe. The wardrobes are HUGE and have some coat hangers. There is a TV in the master bedroom and a TV in one of the other bedrooms. They both have things like Netflix etc. just log in to your account and away you go. The TV in the lounge is local TV, might be more but we didn't use it. There are shutters on the windows so you can get it nice and dark at night. The main bedroom has an ensuite. There is also a hairdryer in each bathroom and shower gel. Don't forget to put all toilet paper in the bin and NOT the toilet! Onto the kitchen and utility. As mentioned before there's a washing machine. They also have a small dishwasher (bring your own tablets). Good selection of pans, utensils and even a stick blender in our apartment. Fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing up liquid, dish cloth and t.towel. Dining table inside as well as a lovely area outside with beautiful view of the village and sea. On a clear day you can see Fuerta. I spotted a BBQ on the terrace too but we didn't eat outside much thanks to the rain. The pool is chilly but fine with wetsuits on.

The water heater for the showers/ taps I think is heated using solar as on the grey rainy days there wasn't really any hot water but it was lovely and hot on the sunny days. It's also a small boiler so you need to plan who showers when and keep it short. 2 people a day is the max I reckon. The sofa is your classic uncomfortable IKEA one but you hopefully won't be spending hours and hours sat on it anyway! In the main bedroom you can definitely hear the traffic but it didn't stop me sleeping. As with all Spanish rentals if you like using a wooden spoon to cook bring your own, it's all metal (no plastic thank goodness!)
