The villa was perfect for our family of 8 and the terraces excellent. We especially loved that the owner filled the space with his own gorgeous pottery. Margarites was a highlight on our three week stay in Europe. Highly recommended.

We loved EVERYTHING. Large lovely spotlessly clean house, with lots of character, plenty of space, inside and out- we were a group of 8 and didn’t feel like we were on top of one another. We stayed for 11 nights, the house was cleaned every 4 days, including change of bed linen and towels(wow, I’ve never had it in a private house!). Pool was gorgeous , and it was cleaned regularly. There is a BBQ by the pool- we used it a couple of times, very nice!The kitchen had everything that you can think of- air fryer, ice crusher etc:) beds were super comfy, I’m a bad sleeper but I slept like a log every night. The owner was very helpful and responsive, welcomed us with some lovely Cretan honey, olive oil, jam etc, and made suggestions for visiting the area. Area- small village well known for handmade ceramics( we bought a lot!) , with a few tavernas, supermarkets and bakery all within max 5 mins walk. It was quiet when we were there end of June, busier during the day as tourist groups came every day for a day trip. Car is needed to go around and visit places. We visited a few beaches, the closest sandy one we could find was 30mins away- we didn’t mind, the scenery is beautiful.

I can’t fault this villa. We have stayed in many and this is the best one we have hired.

The kitchen was fully stocked. Many appliances. It was very clean. Just great.

Gorgeous well equipped villa! Family of 3 couples. Manolis left us fruit, wine, bead,olive oil,herbs and a variety of teas, coffee which was a lovely unexpected touch. The photos don't do this villa justice,the BBQ area has had a makeover (photos need updating) Incredible views with gorgeous sunsets.Next door is mini supermarket that sells everything you need. Short walk to the village where there is a few Taverners, Pottery shops(lots) Bakery and a little shop that sells gifts. The villagers were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We loved everything about this villa and will definitely be returning!!

Location fabulous, lots of local pottery shops and tavernas, everyone was very friendly. All the facilities you would need.

From the moment we arrived, this property exceeded all our expectations. It has everything you could possible require in the kitchen and even had fresh fruit and some essentials available for when we arrived. We hired the whole house as a family of 6, using all four bedrooms. The beds were all comfortable and every bathroom was spotlessly clean with toiletry essentials provided. There is air conditioning in every bedroom and the lounge, which was welcomed as temperatures hit the high 30's. There are also lots of places to sit outside, both in the shade and around the pool, so you can always find a quiet spot to relax. The host was excellent and kept us informed when the cleaning lady was coming in to change towels and bedding, which happened twice in our two week stay. The location is excellent for totally relaxing, yet within a few minutes walk from all the pottery shops and several taverna's and cafe's - we tried them all and never had a bad meal. The supermarket is just a minutes walk away, open till 10pm with very friendly and helpful staff. We hired a car and never had trouble parking on the street just outside the villa. We traveled to Chania and Heraklion during our stay, as both within 90 minutes from the villa. Rethymno, was just 30 minutes away, which has lovely beaches with cafe's, so an ideal location for exploring the island too. We would highly recommend this villa.

The villa was comfortable, quiet location and a good space for a family of 7. All the village and people were welcoming and loved helping us speak Greek. The pool was lovely and kept clean. The views were stunning and had all that we needed when arriving.
