Letterfrack Mountain Farm Cottage on farm in village centre

Very cosy cottage with a lot of space in a great location to visit the national park and/or Kylemore Abbey. Well equipped large kitchen. Nice bath in the bathroom. Comfortable and relaxing living room that makes you feel right at home. Large TV to catch up on some news (batteries of the remote need to be changed!). Silent neighbourhood with some cute farm animals. Even though it was August the cottage was heated due to cold temperatures during the night. Fantastic supermarket which can easily be reached by foot.

Quality of the mattresses (too old and too soft for our likings). An extra curtain at the front door would give some more privacy (especially in the evening). Front door was rather hard to open/lock. I eventually managed but it wasn't very straightforward (even though I already knew locking required the handle to be moved up). Personally, I would have appreciated to see the owners even for just 5 minutes upon arrival, during visit or at checkout.

Great location for getting around Connemara also big and spacious very quite at night

Often no hot water and difficult to work. TV and internet where not working but We did manage to fix the Tv by playing around with connecting wires

clean, comfortable and very large holiday house. Perfect to discover the Connemara part. Shops, restaurants, pubs are near, five minutes walk. Top!

The cottage was lovely, the kids really enjoyed the goats, pigs, cat and horses. We are already planning to come back next year

This property (number 5) is in need of urgent general maintenance and in our opinion is not fit to be let out. The electrics looked unsafe with tape over a broken switch and the cooker switch was broken. Some of the kitchen doors were broken, the bathrooms were tatty, there were holes in the towels and the beds were uncomfortable with cheap/old mattresses. The sofas were really grubby looking. The wooden banister was loose and spindles were missing. The garden was tatty and the airier out there broken. I am so glad we had only booked one night and had no children with us.

Spacious and clean. Loved the animals.

No hot water or heat in downstairs. Laundry area with dryers was a mess and unusable.
