Had the most amazing week at Villa Artemon. It really was as stunning as it looks in all the photos. Yiannis met us at the Villa on our arrival and handed over the keys, showed us around the Villa & shared his number incase we needed anything during our stay, he also kindly brought us a bottle of white wine & there were complementary bottles of water in the fridge. The Villa was impeccably clean & the cleaner visited once during the week at a time convenient to us to change bedding, provide fresh towels etc. The pool was beautiful & there was a sound system so that we could play music whilst we relaxed outside. Fully fitted kitchen & washing machine with detergent provided. The village of Skala is a ten minute walk away & there is a great little supermarket so that we could stock up on food for our stay. There are over 60 restaurants in Skala village, we ate out every night & never had a bad meal. The walk back to the villa from the village is up hill, but doesn’t take too long. There is a taxi station by the beach in the village for when we wanted a lift back to the villa & cost between €6 & €10, we used this option when heading back to the villa if we were carrying shopping or heading back late at night. The small road that the villa is situated on is unlit at night. Most of the taxi drivers knew the Villa & would take you right to the gate but if they drop you at the end of the road it’s only a 2 minute walk. Our flight home was late at night. We needed to be out of the villa at 10am but not at the airport until 6pm so Yiannis kindly arranged for us to leave our luggage at a nearby hotel & use their facilities for the day. He even helped us get our luggage over there & arranged our taxi to the airport, going over and above any expectations. Thank you for an incredible stay! We are spreading the word to friends and family & we will absolutely be back!

The Villa was truly perfect. The only thing I would say is that road it is on is unnamed & explaining to the taxi driver at the airport where we needed to go was quite difficult. Again though, we messaged the owner who as always was really quick to respond & helped us explain where we needed to go. The taxi trip from the airport cost us €80 but the trip back which Yiannis arranged was €65. Like I mentioned previously, most of the local taxi drivers knew where we needed to be when we said villa Artemon & explained it was on the new, dirt road up the hill on the left just past the Pelagos apartments.

Artemon Villa was everything we had hoped for and more. The location for us was perfect about 10-15 minutes walk from Skala main area or 5 minute drive. The villa is tastefully decorated and very clean and had everything we needed. The owner arranged for us to be met at the villa by his friend Yiannis with the keys. Yiannis showed us around the villa and explained all we needed to know regarding air con, appliances etc. He introduced us to the neighbours who look after the maintenance of the villa and told us what days/times the cleaning would be done, which was carried out to an exceptional standard including cleaning the pool. We had a chilled bottle of wine and water waiting for us and the neighbours gifted us a home grown melon which was delicious, they are very friendly and we did not have any issues. Yiannis helped arrange car hire for us as the local company was fully booked and told us about a couple of small beaches about 15 minutes drive from the villa that were sandy, quiet and lovely facilities. The owner Christie’s made contact prior to our visit to ensure he had our flight details and recommended restaurants in Skala which were all great. We had a fantastic stay at Artemon Villa and cannot wait to visit again. Catherine
