The location high up overlooking the lake was stunning

I would have liked to have been warned about the VERY steep drive up to the property. Even as a confident driver it was a challenge. Also - I would have hired a more powerful car! - However it was worth it once we got up there.

The elevated position above the lake, provide incredible views (early morning and evenings are magical). The villa is up a 'steep' hill and with only 4 of us, it felt huge (it is). The facilities were great and it's definitely a safe, quiet place to stay. Our hosts (Mimmo and Anna), were lovely and as they live in the villa next door, were on-hand should there have been any issues - there weren't. The only thing the villa could benefit from, would be air-con, but as it's situated on a hill, the breeze and fans are fine - we'll certainly go back.

Walking back up the hill, so I didn't... (I drove up) :-)
