Ridiculous amount of keys for the property. No guest information supplied. Inside of the property dirty. Property very run down and ramshackle and needs a complete refit. Bedding and towels old and worn. Some health and safety concerns

The ants around and in the house!! The sofa is too old.

We had an amazing stay at the villa. It was really luxurious for just the two of us! The private pool was a big treat. The view from the terrace while eating our breakfast was just breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. Half way our stay (we stayed for one week) the sheets and towels were changed. We would love to come back!

We were very pleased with everything, but if we really had to mention one thing its that both bathtubs might need some repairs. One had a leaky faucet and therefore quite some lime scale and the tub with jacuzzi didn't work (it's a great tub, just no bubbles).

The villa is clean, very spacious with a well equiped kitchen, two bathrooms with good showers and a large terrace which offers a lot sun as well as enough shade, a lot of privacy, quiet location with view on El Teide. It's a great place, we enjoyed the sunset from the jacuzi! Also the host is very friendly and helpful.

It is close to the sea. There are shopping options for food nearby. The architecture of the house was nice. It is quite view protected from the street and neighbourhood. Garden and terrace are fine. Although it is close to the airport, there is no relevant noise from planes. You hear them, but to me it was no problem.

I had checked the "dishwasher" box for my search and this villa was among the results. Upon arrival, the guy just laughed and said "who needs a dishwasher? only a few of our houses have that". So significant holiday time was wasted in washing dishes. For 4 persons, the kitchen equipment is already reduced too far, also comparing to an old inventory list. Seems like no one cares about broken plates or disappeared glasses. If you like to quickly meet 1000 new friends, this house is the place to be - ants in the sleeping room and in the bed. The sofa in the living room causes pain in the back after watching a 2 hours movie; it is already over lifetime. On the booking pictures, a swimming pool was shown - what you find is a 4 seat whirl pool.

Dishwasher would have been nice

Firstly we would like to mention that the customer service we received from James was impeccable, the key pick up was easy, the directions to the property were accurate and our tour of the villa was informative. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa without pool but with hot tub, the property was typically Spanish, ideally located, and a slice of heaven. The property is situated in a quiet area of the Amarilla Golf region, there is a sea view and a Mountain View from the property. The terrace is very private from the street and neighbours and we spent most evenings in the hot tub watching the sunset after we had eaten. There are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance, the property also offers self catering which gives the best of both worlds. There is a local shop called “Coviran” which is also within walking distance from the property, we found everything that we needed there and it was reasonably priced. We hired a car for the week as we had seen on the reviews that having a car was necessary although we only used it for the airport and to visit mount Teide, we walked everywhere else. We hired a Scooter for the day from “Go Rent” and explored around the local area, both of us remarked on how much easier it was to get around on a scooter as parking in the Amarilla Golf area can be a struggle, we will solely hire a scooter upon return and get a taxi to and from the airport. However you could easily do both as there is a private drive with plenty of room for parking. You can join the costal path from the bottom of the street which goes all the way to Los Abrigos, the views are breathtaking and we would definitely recommend to take a look during your stay. Alternatively you can walk through the town and drop onto the costal path closer to Los Abrigos. We absolutely loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be returning! I didn’t take any pictures of the inside (never occurred to me) hence why they are all outdoor shots.
