Arracandra is a very interesting place to stay. It's slightly off the beaten track, yet less than 15 minutes from the beach in Pera. A simple way to check in, clear and consise, it really provided a home from home for our week long stay with all required facilities available on site including a washing machine in the apartment. The apartments are 2 storey units set out in a terraced layout with individual parking A super quiet place to stay, excellent sleep quality in very comfortable beds There is a lovely authentic Portuguese restaurant in the local village 5 minutes drive It's a fantastic base to stay in if you have a car to explore the region Because there is just a pool (which we did use) available, you are slightly forced to go elsewhere. But that in itself is a big positive as you are inclined to make better use of your time

It may be a little too quite for some, especially if you are used to resort type accommodation. A minor gripe, it's a very spacious apartment but the kitchen prep area is laid out poorly, only an issue if doing a lot of cooking
