Hondon-Villa

The pool was amazing and there was plenty of space in the villa.

The villa could do with a bit of TLC and updating the decor and appliances. The kitchen was adequate, with the villa being so isolated we were prepared to be cooking our meals instead of eating out, there was only three of us and we just about managed with the limited oven ware. The pool area is a bit exposed to the street and could do with a fence or higher wall for a bit of privacy. The area is quiet but there was still people walking past. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the frames very rickety. There is air conditioning but it seems quite old and struggles to keep rooms cold without water leaking from unit, after reporting this was told to keep temp at 24/25! There was a ceiling fan in the ground floor bedroom,they could do with putting them in every room. In the description of features it says there is a cd player and I wish I had taken my own cds as there is very limited range, 90's dance mainly. There was no uk tv stations except a news channel but we were able to cast from our phones so we had disney+ and prime. The nearest shop is Aldi 15mins drive away, there is a small shop in the town 5 mins away but has erratic opening hours and was never open when we went past. Communication with the manager was great I felt if there was any problem it would of been dealt with quickly.

La maison était très bien, la piscine au top ! Et pas très cher, très bon qualité/prix...

L'emplacement un peu loin de tout et surtout beaucoup de retraités étranger qui n'aiment pas le bruit car ça les dérange, dommage quand on est en vacances en famille, nous avions même pas le droit de faire venir une autre personne, alors que j'ai de la famille pas loin avec qui on aurait pu profiter de la piscine.. j'ai aussi pris une contravention car j'étais garer sur le trottoir, je pense qu'un voisin à fait venir la police au lieu de venir me le dire... Ensuite la propreté n'était pas au Rdv... les climatisations coule l'eau à flot. Nous avons quand même passer un bon séjour car nous sommes respectueux ... Nous reviendrons pas car c'est trop stressant de dire sans arrêt à nos enfants (chut...les voisins vont pas êtres contents !....) Bien a vous

Pool lights werent working

La casa es ideal para pasar una temporada en familia o amigos. La piscina es grande, cómoda, y muy limpia. Tiene amplias terrazas. La zona del porchado es algo pequeña pero se suple con las zonas cercanas a la piscina que aunque no estén techadas y a la sombra, sí son amplias y espaciosas. Cada habitación tiene su propio aire acondicionado, por lo que dormir por las noches es fresquito. El resto de las instalaciones, como el baño, cocina y comedor son aceptables, no demasiado grandes pero cumplen su función. Nada malo que reseñar. Quizá le falta una nevera algo más grande, pues para 6 personas y una semana se queda pequeña. El congelador es pequeñito, con una bolsa de hielo ya prácticamente está lleno. Por el resto, muy contentos con la casa y con las instalaciones.

Tuvimos un problema muy grave a la llegada. Los propietarios son ingleses que no viven en España y Michele es la persona encargada de recibir a los huéspedes en la casa. Ella no sabía que llegaban nuevos huéspedes, por lo que no se encontraba presente a la hora confirmada de llegada. Gracias a que aún se encontraban recogiendo los anteriores huéspedes pudimos entrar a la casa y recibir las llaves, (Si no nos hubiéramos visto en la puerta de la calle y sin poder entrar) Pero claro, al encontrarse aún dentro los anteriores ocupantes, la casa fue entregada sucia, y sin desinfectar, con las toallas y la ropa de cama usadas y sucias. Se habló con Michele (la cual sólo habla inglés) por teléfono a coste de llamada internacional (número de Reino Unido) (La zona no tiene cobertura de móvil para hablar o llamar por whatsapp). Se acordó con ella que los anteriores huéspedes nos dejaban la llave, y que nosotros mismos podríamos limpiar la casa, y poner lavadoras para cambiar la ropa de cama y las toallas de los WC. Se acordó con ella que vendría al día siguiente a limpiar. Al rato nos llegó un mensaje que no podría mañana al ser domingo, que vendría el lunes. El lunes no apareció nadie a la hora acordada, llegándonos a la tarde un mensaje de disculpa porque había surgido una urgencia y no había podido ir a limpiar, ni mandar a nadie. Le dijimos que no hacía falta que viniera ya a limpiar, que ya habíamos nosotros limpiado, pero que exigíamos una compensación por las molestias así como la devolución del importe pagado correspondiente a los servicios de limpieza. A fecha de hoy seguimos esperando una resolución tanto de booking como de los propietarios de la casa. En general a la casa le falta un poco de mantenimiento y una limpieza más a fondo. El anterior huésped también nos comentó que cuando ellos entraron la casa también estaba sucia. Que se pusieron a limpiar más a fondo. Por lo visto es habitual la falta de limpieza entre huéspedes y huéspedes.

Beautiful villa, spotlessly clean, fantastic views of the mountains, quiet location - perfect place to relax and chill.

The only issue we could see is that you need a car to go anywhere but that honestly didn’t bother us.

Lovely villa we knew the area as lived in hondon de las nieves for 6 years. Ideal for a short or long stay.

The villa is beautiful and relaxing, the person in charge is super nice and responds at all times, the house is big and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, you have to keep in mind that you need a car to stay in this villa because it is far away.

The swimming pool was dirty, maybe because it wasn't summer but we would have liked to use it, it was a shame

It was in the right area for us to visit family around the villa. There loads off place to go as long as you have a car that Is. It was a good choice for the family defo booking again to stay here
