Felt homely in the property, with a lovely holiday feel to the pool area.

it was great! I wouldn’t say it’s really set up for cooking dinner regularly, but perfect for breakfast and lunch as we needed.

"A good location for site seeing"

Wonderful views over lemon groves from the terrace down to the pool. The pool area was well maintained and we even swam in April. The finish inside the villa was of a high standard. The villa was very good for us as both the double rooms had an ensuite. We enjoyed the eggs and strawberries which the owners left for us along with a lot of other provisions. It was well placed to go to the surrounding countryside. The historical site of Egnazia was only 10 minutes away and is open until 1.30. It has a very good museum as well as the open air site. We also travelled to Matera from here as well as the trulli towns. There is also a very large supermarket nearby.

Be aware that the local railway line behind the property can be noisy which is particularly noticeable in the early hours of the morning when the trains start running.
